The French are starting to look really interesting. If it weren’t for another french player in our group I would like to start them.

If you like the look of a particular faction or model pick it up. The game is balanced enough that you can make just about anything work.

Also, while Jeanne d’Arc is the patron saint of France, her current incarnation is a curious choice of model for the teaser/preview image of this video.
Maybe I’ll bay some Merovingian at last. I like Lopu Garous and Metros.

The metros have always been awesome looking models and it’s great to see them getting some options which will make the army even more dynamic. It has me very tempted to do a list of 20 metros…

You realise there’s been rules for archaic TAGs, and mention of Ariadnan TAGs for years right? And all I got from the video was UXIA RESCULPT. About feckin’ time lol

The Ariadna are one of the most original miniatures lines for SCI-FI wargaming imo, lovely models, can’t wait to hear more! 🙂
I started off Haqqislam but might just take up a french Sectorial list..
Scots Guards? Ah, sounding good… And yes, it was the Werewolves, even the ones not Airborne that drew me to the faction… Kilted Werewolves with guns now? Just need a bit of firepower to support, hoping the Guards will… Though perhaps I am just playing on less terrain…

This has to stop – I have just ordered up the new McMurrough for my Caledonian army and the Sepulchre knight for my Military order force. Now I am going to have to buy some Scots Guards when they come out and am so tempted by the Merovingians. No more or I will be going bankrupt! On second thoughts just keep them coming! And where is my Mormaer with a Heavy Machine Gun?
Ariadna is probably my second favorite faction.

Great, Infinity has excellent background. One grounded in strict science fiction. There is a.i., hackers and a background of many current nations in the future. There is no “magic” or otherwise fluff pasted in this background to patch up things.

Forget Frenchies in space, I want a Kazak sectorial! The Russian models are what drew me to this game in the first place (well, them and that badass S.A.S. w/ chainrifle).
Still, nice to see there’s more options down the line.

Very interesting new units. Adriana (FRRM particularly) is probably the second or third most likely faction for me to add to my collection, at this point, behind the ISS and CA.
I was hoping for more for the Russians but I’ll probably get whatever
AD can be really scary, never played against Ariadna, but the Aleph AD robots have ruined my day more than once… made me always try and cover all possible approaches with AROs… Having an AD TAG or Dog Warrior must be way more scary (Now I’m looking into Total Reaction Remotes to guard my Sun Tze Lieutenant).

What initially drew me to Infinity was the sleek armor, and futuristic spec ops vibe. (Aleph is my favorite) At first I wasn’t particularly drawn to Ariadna, but they are really starting to grow on me. They definitely have a rugged appeal and I ove the idea of a large portion of my force parachuting in. And that big werewolf miniature?! Pure Awesome!
I’ve really liked the Aleph and Haqqislam minis, but I need to give the Ariadna another look see. My wallet weeps when such minis are available…
I love the look of this sectorial… that being said not sure i would want such few models in a team … normaly try to go with at least 8 orders in a group. though i must admit whatever these folks are doing they will look good doing it
A little disappointing that Kazaks sectorial hasn’t been done (yet). But still loving the Ariadna.
The Mero’s are my main Ardiana sectorial so it’s great to hear they are getting more options. I like the Moblot for HI but they can be flimsy.

New troop similar to wulvers but french style, pretty clear to me, you can call them with some historic reference to french troops, but they will be wulverettes xD

I love the design of the Ariadna especially the Metros but as a Nomad player I find the Ariadna’s lack of technology too much of a bonus not a drawback. Being completely immune to E/M and Hacking yet still having soldiers with armour suits, great infiltration and quite a few para troops that match much more technologically sophisticated factions just seems unbelievable. Though I might just be bitter from getting shot in the face by chain rifles one too many times.

I like the list but I can’t imagine not playing Chasseurs…to me getting those at AVA 4 is the main appeal of the Frenchies…that and Metros are awesome looking.
So tempted to start another faction, and so accessible to boot!
Now I’m really torn between the sectorials for Ariadna, but still sound awesome!
I can’t put my finger on it but Ariadna just doesn’t do it for me. I like a few of their models and don’t dislike any, but the other factions’ counterparts all look cooler to me.

That’s great I’ve been wanting to start infinity for some time now and this is a great chance. Now all I need is the cash and someone in my area to play.
Can’t wait to the see the new “Cherry” sculpt. Despite being an older sculpt I still thought it had something going for it. So I hope the update really knocks it out of the park.

This is my favourite 300pt list so far for the Factions. Part of this comes down to the paras and in no small way, my favourite pair of Infinity miniatures, Mirage-5!
I am so looking forward to seeing the new Metro personality plus the new frenchies box set. Add to that the Caledonians and we have TWO new box sets on the horizon! Things are looking great for my second main Faction Ariadna. 🙂
