So incredibly happy to be getting more characters! Does that mean Greek Sectorial won’t be getting a TAG but the characters will function like them?

Unfortunatley, it was already revealed that Achilles himself will not be linkable – can you imagine him with +1 burst, SS l2 and +3 BS?!?!

Those heroes sound interesting! I mean Penthesilea I-khol lvl3 CC Monster anyone? Berserking Ajax?
Somehow I see her more with some kind of long ranged gun, maybe a MULTI sniper rifle. I mean, wasn’t she the queen of the amazons, who were famed for their skill with bows?
Myrmidons, Ekdromoi, and I’m sure some other new goodies will be in the SSS sectorial. Although a Myrmidon link teams lead by Achillies will be devastating with their ODD.

I wasnt that exited about a greek sectorial before since i find the indian them/playstile and models more appealing to me and i like my robots. 🙂
A little more exited about the greeks now because the personalitys but im mostly exited about the personalitys. They usually have different and fun gear/stats and models looks more distinct and nicer that the regular troops.

Aleph sectorials sound interesting.
I am delighted on the heroes named, also I was right he was Ais the telamonios, fantastic one of my favorite characters from Iliad.
Now I am expecting more details on the normal units ekdromoi is nice I wonder if we will see peltasts, hoplites or other such units.
Well with an amazonian character we might get some amazon themed unit.

Altough the greec sectorial army may sound cool (especially if you are a fan of Greek Myths and legends), I am more excited by the Indan theme sectorial army!

The greek sectorial is a good thing for aleph but i’m looking forward for an indian sectorial!
Aleph has been really a pain to beat since I started thee game, but I don’t have that many games on me so I probably just need to learn how to better use my units.
I already play strict myrmidon lists in combination with pat and achilles and now they are gonna be linkeable? How awesome is that! Christmas is earlier this year 😀

This will make Aleph players happy. I really like the idea of centering fire teams around heroes. Very dramatic.
Firetams are good, but not overpowered. It’s interesting concept, but I wouldn’t recommend one forte beginner. Better have a good grasp from the core rules and normal units before moving to the more cpmplex stuff.
The Greek heroes sound interesting. I hope they release Odysseus, he won the war for crying out loud.

Ajax, Diomedes, Penthesilea? This is even more awesome than I had hoped for. I just wonder if there will be a greek TAG that goes as well with Myrmidons as the Marut does.

Interesting. Perhaps a Helen character, with stats making her an odalisque personality. She did have a face that launched a thousand (star)ships.
I just hope that they don’t get any really inexpensive troop choices. One thing that makes Aleph an army that isn’t overpowered is that they’re starved for orders.
Still, they’re tempting, very tempting…
If you play a greek sectorial, your opponent will be the one to have the option to buy Helen and she immediately becomes a victory condition for Achilles 😀

Finally Aleph gets some love.
Again, Ouch! Aleph are getting some heavy re-inforcements here. Remember that all of these new option just boost Patroclus and his impersonation tricks (2x Ajax, Fake Ajax etc). Hope they cut down on the ODD’s a bit as well.

I really don’t dig the paint scheme of aleph. I don’t normally advocate sun beds, but these guys make goths look tanned.

Aleph is the faction that appeals to me the least but I would be lying if I said I was not scared of the thought of myrmidon link teams… with heroes.
Convinced a friend to start Aleph. Beautiful models! I think the proxies are the nicest of the bunch!

Am I the only one who thinks 7 orders in a 300 points list is a bit No No? Other than that it’s awesome to hear Aleph being brought up to par with the original armies of infinity. And I (like others) like the fact that it take characters to create fire teams. It gives the ASS a sort very small elite like feel.

Given it took a while for Aleph to get its models upto a reasonable force size will be interesting to see how many models the new faction gets on launch.

@ heavygear02. Actually for me, all the bots are the reason I didn’t start an Aleph army. I’m not a massive fan. I love the other stuff but feel there’s too many (for me) bots. I suppose that’s the beauty of Infinity. There is something for everyone. Saying that. When I started Infinity I really didn’t feel the love for Yu Jing. I am in the process of building a ISS army. I suppose all it takes is a sexy new mini and it’s all change. Bring on a few new releases.
The whole Greek Mythology approach to Aleph makes it one of those Factions you just want to try out, even if you have other (or several other! lol) favourite factions you already play.
I like the idea of fireteams being led by personalities – it gives the Faction a even more of great thematic feeling.
