It's time to visit Wrath of Kings nation of Felskar to find out more about the technology focused faction which takes a more socialist approach to ruling than the other nation in Arikania, the House of Teknes.

We'll take a look at the armies of Teknes which are considered to have "some of the most well-rounded troops" in Wrath of Kings which include amongst their ranks mutated pig-men and the diminutive but formidable Addanii.
We also discover more about Traits and their purpose in the game as well as take a moment to admire Dave Taylor's painting skills as we show off his work on the Teknes troops we have with us in the studio.

Defo think this is the faction for me . But all factions look great , I know I’m going to end up with more than one faction three or four .

So that’s all the factions. Still none the wiser as to what I’ll go for. I am liking the alt-fantasy setting here with its slightly Steam-punky vibe. Based on looks I’d go for a couple, based on theme and playstle I’d typically go for a different couple. Aaaaargh – I know where this is leading me…just off tp clear a couple of shelves!
This is my faction sure as sure !
The Mighty Taur is one of my fav models from this range… but the Addanni creep me out a little. They’re like… evil gnomes.
I have a Teknes starter set and a CAGE sat unassembled under my bed- perhaps I need to take a second look at these guys! Some of the Adani have an almost ‘Soviet’ style in the fluff, so maybe a ‘WWII Russian’ paint-scheme would look good?..
Soviet pigmen would work perfectly, some real animal farm vibes from them – now go them assembled!
This would probably be my faction of choice. Not entirely up with the proto-comunism, but the pig-men are just awesomesauce.
I WILL watch, I WILL comment, I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER FACTION!!! My poor wallet!
So within a fantasy technopunk communist future, those with brains become fragile and frail cos they are so relent on technology and everyone else turns into mindless beast, although I always thought pigs where intelligent so maybe they will revolt.
Very cool alternative faction though

This is the only faction that didn’t really draw me in, but it struck a chord with the wife.
Awesome looking minis! Those pics are freaky but cool.
Pigmen used as workslaves ? Fishmen using tridents as swords ? Somebody’s been watching a little too much Ulysses 31, methinks… 😉

I so love the Union workers that I’m in the middle of making a chess set with them.
With that said I like the Teknes force all round. This is the army for me hands down. I still need to get me some CAGE’s so my force has more options.
Absolutely love this faction and cannot wait to paint my pig men……hurry up post man!

Yeaaa Tekness , those pig man looks so cool and those little flying guy that bug everybody all the time plus that big Steamy robot hard to killl hummm what else can i dream of ??? i think this faction is perfect for me , but Hadross is also one of my favorite so why not one army of each 😉

This one feels a bit to cartoony for me. They do have some great abilities.
I really love the whole vibe of the faction, really enjoy the technology aspects of the world.
I backed the kick starter for every faction and to be honest this faction was my least favourite aesthetically, but when they arrived and I built them they soon became my favourite, so much character and background. Also if you look closely at the C.A.G.E. there is a little Adanii inside him, tou can see it peeking out of his ‘mouth’.
Honestly like Dave’s TMM minis better than the studio NMM ones. Very nice job
These are some characterful minis, would love the pig men and Adani brood just to have on display. But overall, I think it’s Hadross
Saving the best for last. This is the force for me. I started with Goritsi and found them not for me. These guys however are just right. So tough, so many wounds, sooo many cool toys. Very flavorful (bacon).
I’m proud of you, and Ima let you finish, but Pig men are the best men, of all time.
I like the pigmen and the little floaty dudes. I might have to have a captured pigman over for a roast 🙂

i thought the fishmen were characterful but these guys are even better. pigmen with crazy little folk, just class. one of the most imaginative fantasy faction out there.

This is probably my favourite faction. Would love lineman and audani army with C.A.G.E.
Well I’m looking at a second faction and this may just be it. I do like the goritsi as well but you don’t often get to see pig warriors and that might just sway it for me. Loving this week. The painted models especially have been amazing.
This is my second faction from the KS, i really like the Pigman, the mighty Taur and the C.A.G.E.
And the Valkrav Galvanic Defenders, how could i forget about them?
Ok, at first look the Teknes didn’t appeal to me, but seeing them in the video has certainly opened my eyes to the possibilities.
Very interesting take on the technological development and the reliance upon the common ‘people’. All the factions are so interesting and with such cool models picking any one faction is so hard.

If you like the Union Workers they are due to get some airborne reinforcements in the future so then you can have Flying Pigs 🙂

Those Pigmen look amazing! Such a great paint job on those, and so many of them. Wrath of Kings is definitely my type of fantasy game.
The floating menacing cherubs are really cool! Steampunk Minotaur is one of the best in the range. The prevalence of Pigmen creates a really bizzare and fableesque force, I like it a lot!
They do a good job at following the Dwarf designs from Confrontation. The pigmen themselves are neat, you could use them as orcs in toher games.
Baconators to the Front! So its a faction filled with power hungry Gnomes that like turning humans in to beast to do their bidding. I like it. You could have so much fun with converting things up that could have came from their labs. We need faster troops that can’t lose their mounts…CENTAURS! So many possibilities.
Well turning into a pig is either a punishment for criminals/enemys or someone volunteers because the process is largely reversible.
Who needs Elves and Orcs when you have pigs.
House Teknes is the only faction that does absolutely nothing for me. Maybe it’s the steampunk vibe. Maybe it’s the dwarf/gnome guys. Maybe it’s just a part of my brain saying, “Stop it! There has to be at least one faction you don’t collect!” Even so, I’ll probably end up buying that Mighty Taur fellow. He’s too cool not to own.

well i only want to point out that in japanes fanatsy literature orcs often descript as humanoids with pig heads… so from a very far stretch you have japanse orcs right there XD

Nice fluff but this faction hasn’t grabbed me, tho I like Mighty Taur mini.
Didn’t like these at first during the kS, but they grew on me and are now my favourites.
Mutant pig men! Steam punk robots! Teknes is the faction for me. I hope the paint job I give them does them justice.

The Tor…. is Mighty.
I think I would enjoy the way Teknes plays better than any other faction., Little distraction units, Tech enhanced humans, big hitters that can hold their ground all backed up by waves of Pigmen! Angry Pigmen! Seriously considering Teknes to start with
PIG PEOPLE! This is the faction for me. Something about Socialism, Pigs, and Augmented Armor really draws me in.
My least favourite so far.
The old overseer reminded me of Ugnauts from Star Wars.

As a longtime and fanatical Confrontation player, I’m psyched Edouard Guiton is creating concept art for minis again!
I quite like the human elements of this faction, the others are great too but the linemen keyword units really seem cool.
The concept behind these guys is pretty cool. Definitely want some.

An interesting take on steampunk and orcs and really shows the diversity of the factions and the strategic design options of the game.
Very cool indeed, a nice industrial feel to these and good to see options within the factions too
Now I suddenly don’t know. I thought I had found my faction, but then these guys come along. They’re so well thought out, the design is awesome and I could spend hours painting them. Maybe this is the faction for me. Hmmm….maybe I need two…
I really didn’t want to like this game as I’ve got so much on the go right now but damn it’s really hard not to want to start playing!
Still not completely sold on this faction.
This is my least favorite faction. I like the look of the Mighty Taur, but not enough to buy into the faction. I will probably just buy the model to paint and display.

An interesting faction. flying babies and pigmen.
At last the pigs are here, yeah this is it, I think I like these the best of all. Really awesome models and I like the extra diversity of the “human” figures and tech mixed in one as well. Very interesting fluf on this group and who would have thought we would get pigs on the game table. Kind of reminds me of that old joke: “what’s the deference between a man and a pig…..about six pints”
Interesting backstory to this faction. It sounds like you could invent a lot of gameplay (civil war, revolts) within this faction as well as put them against the others.
Pigmen + Adani brood sounds like a good combo. Hurt the Adani a bit, they hurt you back. Hurt the pigmen a bit, they become stronger.
I find the story about how they are pigs a bit thin but they make fun models!

After watching each faction video I’ve decided that was the faction for me. Think I might have to give them all a second watch and see if I’m any the wiser!
