Salute 2021 Live Blog!

Each year the South London Warlords run the Painting competition at Salute.

It’s attracted a higher and higher level of skill as the years have gone on, while this is a serious competition we should not forget this is also a bit of fun for anyone at Salute to enter.

Here is a brief look at what’s already in the cabinet, starting with Category 1. Historical Wargames Single figure: Infantry or Cavalry – Up to and including 54mm

A look at category Science Fiction Creature or Vehicle – creature/vehicle can be any size: up to 3 items

A gander at category 5. Science Fiction Wargames unit: up to and including 40mm: 5 to 40 figures.

Pew Pew, Category 4. Science Fiction Single Figure up to and including 54mm Scale

Category 9. Fantasy Creatures or Vehicles, which can be a creature or vehicle of any size, and may include up to 3 pieces.

The hunt for Fantasy units… Category 8, Fantasy Wargames unit: up to and including 54mm: 3 to 40 figures

Entrants so far for category 7 Fantasy Single Figure up to and including 54mm Scale.

Category 11 ‘Miscellaneous Class’ allows any figure or unit, typically not covered by the categories, and includes dioramas.

Moonstone is a whimsical fantasy skirmish game for 2-4 players, which sees you leading fairytale inspired characters across the dark lands in search of precious Moonstones… and here is a look at one of their demonstration tables here today!
