If @peachey is there at Salute. Where is Danny?

Epic Battles Waterloo…? Anything related to that at Salute?
The big question is where is Free’s moonstone video and Ben’s animal models find video ? Why has Jason not bought anything odd to wear about the show. I missed the vambrace action !!!
I bought a Jackalope… Mooooooonstone <3
Is it house trained?
Finished work and catching up with all of the posts and videos. This is great, really enjoying the coverage.
I’d never heard of Full Metal Miniatures and they have a special Catherine Leroy mini which I have to pick up because she was bad ass. Great looking range.
Can I just say “Thank you” for the team running around the show floor like lemmings (or squirrels) on speed to bring us as much coverage as possible in one day? I don’t want to image how much work the team (and editors) need to lift. I raise my glass to you.
Love the Stalingrad table. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could pass that table around to various groups and clubs so they would all have a chance to play on such a great table. Just like going to the library, excuse me miss, I would like to check out the Stalingrad table for the weekend!!!!!! It w0uld be incredible to share the love.
Really good stuff gang!
I miss seeing these events. Glad that the bug is not holding us back any longer.
I wish I was there.
You guys covered a lot of stuff! Some of those paint jobs are spectacular. Just a little jealous. I’m hanging out for The Silver Bayonet (the release in the upside down land has been pushed back to very early next year). I know I can just jump online and order it but I’d like to support my local independent bookstore OR FLGS.
The Stalingrad game looks great. Have you got any more details on that?
I wish I could be there – self isolation suck. 🙁
Look forward to watching these as a late Sunday treat
I was really disappointed by this year’s Salute. There were so many empty tables and stalls and one can’t help but think the empty stalls were traders or exhibitors who simply didn’t show – I can’t see that people would waste the effort putting stalls up for traders who hadn’t booked.
I know some of the European Traders (Wargamer Games, Microart Studio) were having customs issues. I saw announcements from a couple of other UK traders apologising but not really giving a reason for not attending. The upshot was a convention that just felt empty and it worries me that it will struggle again next year if attendees decide not to go back next year.
Thanks for the coverage folks.
