Farewell To #UKGE2021 - We'll See You Again Next Year!
So we have come to the end of another UK Games Expo. This year has been different but no less impressive thanks to the work of the UKGE crew and their army of volunteers.
In this video, Free and Justin chat with Richard and Tony, the organisers of the UK Games Expo, and discuss what they thought about the show. We hope you enjoyed our coverage and we’ll be back next year for more!
Dice Sports: Exodus & Air Flick - Dexterity-Based WWII Goodness! #UKGE2021
Our resident WW2 expert John has made his way over to the Dice Sports booth, where he takes a look at Air Flix and Exodus.
Both are incredibly unique games – Air Flix is a fast-paced, Second World War, dexterity based dogfighting game for 2 or more players, and Exodus is a survival horror game for 1-5 players which combines intense tactical combat, resource management and a comic book narrative! Certainly interesting concepts, which if you are at UKGE – you should check out before they all sell out!
Z-Man: Diving Into Many Worlds - A Lovecraftian Pandemic, Love Letter & More! #UKGE2021
Free heads over to the Z-Man Booth, where Asmodee has taken over! Set up on their booth there are some popular titles that have been adapted for new gamers to immerse themselves in already established universes.
Whether it be the Infinity Gauntlet version of Love Letters, or the Cthullu version of Pandemic. Players can demo these popular titles before committing to buy over at the Z-Man Games Booth.
Pauper’s Ladder: Team-Up With A Bird Companion & Explore A Whimsical Realm #UKGE2021
Free had made her way over to Pauper’s Ladder from Bedsit Games, and she immersed herself in a lilac-coated fantasy universe.
Where players take the role of paupers as they undergo quests, striving to learn three of the five virtues: generosity, fellowship, bravery, knowledge, and magnificence.
The Detective Society: An Escape Room/ARG Experience In Your Living Room #UKGE2021
One of the coolest games that we’ve seen this year is one that would probably appeal to more than just your average tabletop fan. The Detective Society is “an escape room in a box” which brings together puzzle-solving elements and ARG gameplay.
This seems like a fascinating way to get people sitting around a tabletop and venturing into something a bit different. Everyone wants to be the person who solves the mystery during the middle of that crime drama!
East Street Games: Mob Sitter & Robot Rumble! #UKGE2021
Justin catches up with East Street Games to discuss two of their games. One of them is Mob Sitters which is now available this year at UKGE.
The second of these is a quirky and quick game which introduces a bit of robot smashing action. Robot Royale is also available for you to snap up and dive into. Both games are great for those looking for a relaxed, fun, game night.
Sythopian Wars: Unique & Interesting Miniatures Wargame Coming To Kickstarter Soon! #UKGE2021

Dan of Atlantis Miniatures has been creating stunning miniatures for many years now. His Dwarves are a favourite for Ben although there are also Wood Elves, Werewolves, Trolls, Giants, Centaurs and more.
Their miniatures are available in resin but you can also pick them up as STL Files. Try your hand at a bit of 3D printing and build these miniatures at home.

Instead, pick it up in chunks and have a pop at this system agnostic book. This book includes maps, lore details, encounter ideas, tables to roll on and more. It seems great for those looking to get some help with storytelling. Catch them on Twitch too!
ZATU: #UKGE2021 Supporting Sponsor - Find Your Next Big Game
One of the big things about setting up for a convention is that you need to have some vendors. ZATU is one of those sponsors this year for the UK Games Expo and they have a vast selection of games for you to try.
These folks cater to all kinds of gamers. Want your light, social deduction games? They got you. Want something a bit heavier, they got you too!
