Justin takes over hosting duties from Ronnie and Rob and dives into the climax of our 'get to the choppa' game from yesterday.

A Close Up Of The Action
Things have been heating up as we head towards the climax of this game. Some characters are now inexplicably dead while others are rushing towards the chopper.
It seems as if Peter didn't make it with the fuel however and is now bleeding out while the rest close in. Negan also took a bat to Rick!
Joe Gets Chomped!
As the participation game continues it seems like a good idea to turn some more of our Boot Campers into monstrous walkers!

Rick appears to have had his head caved in and things are progressing towards a rather daring finale.

As well as a mounted Rick we have folks like the Governor and even an angry Patrick in armour! Some of our favourites are the different versions of Michonne, Morgan and Tyresse who are all looking angry!

Folks are getting slaughtered and that means more goodies are going to be given out.
Negan gets angry, predictably, and folks are getting shot left, right and centre. Twin that with some sneaky stabbings and betrayals and no-one escapes the walkers.

I need to clear some time to get playing this, it looks awesome. Just a shame to have it sitting in the box for the moment. Mannequin Challenge was amusing, I wish I could keep that still for 2 seconds, far too fidgety to do that.

Home now, I’d like to thank my mom and Elvis for a great weekend… but neither of them had anything to do with that.
So instead I’d like to thank all the Beasts of War, the local lads and the “foreign correspondents” (yes Ben you’re included) who have done so much work over the weekend and the ton of work they put in before our feet dirtied the carpets. You’re all legends.
Ronnie and Rob for bringing (dis)organised madness and teaching us how to get playing and doing it all with such passionate enthusiasm. Enjoy your time back home and some well earned rest from that hectic schedule guys, cheers.
Ben and Cad, from 4Ground, the tables looked amazing, the Mall prize was insanely generous, and the bonus “Evil Dead” cabin in the woods for all the attendees was a fantastic touch. The green room and pub discussions were great craic and I’m glad you were able to come as gamers instead of just supporting the event… and Ben pepper spray equipped Sophia was an inspired idea.
Finally, but in no way least, all the happy campers, it was a ton of fun glad to see some faces back again and a load of new ones, coming in from all over showing that no matter where you come from we’re all big kids once the war dollies are on the table. It’s been a blast.
Hope to see you at another one in the not too distant future.

I’ve just been given a copy of Sedition Wars (for free) but as I’m not into board games I was wondering if I could use the minis that came in that game with the rules for this game, treating the Strain as zombies, and setting it on an Infinity style board – do you think that would work?

Finally worked through all the videos. Not a sad face in the house – unless you count all the walkers and soon to be walkers. Thought I’d try for a last ( and first ) kick at the can. Enjoyed the weekend.
I’m slowly working my way through them to see what I missed. The strange thing is having been there, I missed a hell of a lot. While you’re playing people are talking terrain, or painting, or doing various things here and there, so being in the middle of it means you lose track of what’s happening at the edges. Can’t see the wood for the walkers 😉

It’s been a tough bit of work. I’ve been sick and medicated to my eyeballs. Even with that I was able to go through everyone of these amazing post about a fantastic weekend. It’s so nice to see when a group of people have a genuine passion for something. That passion is obvious in this video from the BoW crew, Ronnie, the 4Ground fellows, and each of the participants. What an amazing time I’ve had vicariously from my couch. Thanks for sharing these.

Looks like a fun boot camp, but I didn’t back the KS for the game because I wasn’t sure it was the game for me, and I remain unconvinced
Now that’s how to run a game of TWD All Out War! Gonna be tough going back to the paper mats after watching how to do up an environment right.
Looks like fun! Just bought into kings of war last week. Was at a local game show and had to decide. I went with KOW because i have a lot of fantasy models lying about, so could instantly play. The walking dead box looked great though!
Kings is a cracking game you should enjoy it.
Summary of the weekend is that I should probably buy this game.
