Start A 6mm Fantasy Elf Army With Microworld Games’ New Releases

Microworld Games has now released a new set of 6mm Fantasy Elves for you to make use of in your tabletop wargames. There is a full suite of tiny pointy-eared soldiers for you to pick up here, giving you the core of any good fighting force to use on the tabletop with your wargame of choice.

Elf Dragon Lord // Microworld Games

This is the twentieth 6mm Fantasy army from Microworld Games, giving you an idea of just how many of these tiny 6mm fellows Microworld Games has brought to people's collections! They were originally lined up to be released in March but slipped due to slow painting of the studio army (happens to us all!).

Elf Spearmen // Microworld Games

You can get all of the core elements that you'd expect for an Elven force in this army. Your classic Spearmen are in the mix alongside Archers, Blademasters, Cavalry, Spearsisters, Chariots and even Elven Lords on the back of their mighty dragons that they have bonded with.

Elf Citadel Guard // Microworld Games

All of the miniatures for this Elf army were sculpted by Martin Baker, apart from the Ballistae. I think they look great and even though 6mm might be just too small for my eyes, they should make a brilliant force to use in a range of different games.

Elf Lancer Cavalry // Microworld Games

I like that you can tell that they're Elves from the armour and attire that they're wearing. The flowing robes, feathery plumes and conical helmets gives off that classic Warhammer vibe of Elves that feels immediately recognisable.

Elf Ballistae // Microworld Games

If you're interested in picking up these Elves as separate units or as part of a series of army bundles, they are available on the Microworld Games website but also on their Etsy store if you'd prefer to buy that way.

6mm Elven Army // Microworld Games

I think the army looks great and adds another string to the bow of Microworld Games and what they have to offer. As mentioned above, there are plenty of games to use these with but perhaps something like Fantastic Battles might be a good shout?
