Raise Your Garde For Tercio Creativo & Dies Irae!
July 31, 2013 by brennon
Tercio Creativo are back with another awesome looking model and a new IndieGoGo Campaign to bring you an expansion to the base game. Below are some details for Dies Irae!
As well as this deadly new foe being bought to the field of battle there are a wealth of other options accessible through the fundraising process. The folks from Tercio Creativo have also put together a nice list and some artwork of what's coming in this expansion...
There is plenty of awesome artwork on offer that really brings this world to life and they appear to be fleshing out the background of their world with a nice set of rules too. Tercio Creativo always have top notch miniatures on offer but I have to say that I've never picked up their game and given it a go.
Have any of you tried Tercio Creativo and if so what did you think of it? If you haven't tried it, will you be giving it a go in the aftermath of this campaign?
Let me know your thoughts below.

Yeah, I’ve played this game for months among others like Infinity, Batman Miniature Game, and Malifaux, and ir offers different things other games doesn’t have.
An example are the Antagonist, the people who occasionally lives in the scenario, trapped into a fight wich is disturbing his normal life. They are pawns who aren’t controlled directly by any player (it’s control is random, depending on the winner of the Authority roll at the begining of the turn). And they sometimes can make the difference.
1650 is a fast game too, you can end a Commision in one hour or half hour.
The system is nice, not much complicated but complete and expandible, and lets you simulate a very cinematic and tactical fights, with the intense flavour of that time, in that place. It has all the flavours of these old and decadent Spain, wich is an exciting piece of history.
And the fictional twist that Tercio Creativo has put into the real historical fluff, could boost the setting possibilities. Look at the words “Levantine Plague”, I’m sure it will bring more exciting…things ^_^
The Dies Irae campaign, could enhance even more this game adding Campaign Rules, Boardgame-Style rules, horseman rules, vehicles…
1650: A Capa y Espada, deserves a try, not only for it’s superb miniatures (painting them is delightful), and with Dies Irae it could grow as one of these games you can’t stop to play.
Yeah, I will pledge on that campaign 😉
He’s lovely. Could we please have a review on this game?
