Renadra Plastic Gravestones
April 6, 2011 by beerogre
If they had only been Egyptian style, they might have been on to a winner here!
However, anyone needing gravestones for perhaps a horror game or a Vampire counts army. These options from Renadra Plastics are kind on the pocket, as-well-as pretty on the tabletop.
Anyone want to make a graveyard... check out Renadra's diorama.
My question is... how do Renadra make these so affordable, while other companies feel the need to charges an arm and a leg?

Not bad… I like these. For once, this type of company expands beyond tents and fences, and this looks like a hit !
Thanks Andy
I think I may order a set or two for Faith and Fear!
was going to make some and cast but with a billion other projects behind schedule This will be a timely time saver.
update
did order
If the bank manager complains will blame you Andy lol
Some of the iron fencing would be useful but they don’t seem to have any.
ps just thought that the crosses will be handy for adding to figure bases 😀
Well what can I say, Been looking for something like this and now you guys found it, and to a resonably price too. Too bad they don’t have bags with just ravens though. And yes, how come these are so cheap? is it just a one time offer? cause it really is cheap, but then again Zvezda had a range of multipart 28mm (like 12 parts a model!!!) undead romans for a game called “Ring of rule” and they were really, really cheap but still very detailed, a lot more details than Mantic! Can’t find their “ring of rule” products anymore though
My only theory is that fences, stones etc is easier to make the model for than a person/monster so they don’t have to charge som much for the design process. Then again GWS fences are very pricey…
just an idea… but this might make some fun shields
Nice find, might need some of these. Tomb Kings are skeletons but do they go with Gravestones? 😉
Lots of other companies use Renedra, in fact even GW did till a couple years back (when they bought there own kit, then sold it and outsourced to china for about 6 weeks then bought it all back…) so the price comes from paying Renedra to make the kits then the mark-up to cover costs like packaging, shipping to them, storage, etc. Renedra don’t have to store the sprues, just squirt goop into the moulds enough times to fill an order, their packaging is basic-, and the only shipping is to the customer.
Basic packaging is a good thing IMO, forgeworld put resin in bags but gw stick to big bulky expensive to print(or so they keep telling us) boxes for everything from Marneus Calgar and his 4 man crew, I mean who’s ever bought a model for the box?
As a suggestion BOW, what would be really useful is a list of manufacturers who provide different types of great terrain. For example, for those after card terrain you can suggest World Works, Resin pieces can be Quantum Gothic, accesories can be Renadra, and so on and so forth.
You can also expand this to manufacturers that make conversion parts, specialise in 15mm, etc. I know alo of companies get mentioned and have their products showcased but then they get lost in the ether so a downloadable list that you can update would be great for us gamers. You can almost call it a ‘yellow pages’ for wargaming manufacturers! You could even charge them for a listing!
I ordered the set yesterday and they are with me already! How about that for service!! 😀
They arrived in a ziplock in a jiffybag. IMO that is sufficient to protect the sprues in the post
Ok downside is that there is a bit of a seamline on a few of the stones. But with the simple shapes that will be the easiest of clean up jobs.
Detail could maybe crisper but think that with a wash it will be more than good enough.
But those are very minor issues imho
Am liking what I have. In the circumstances glad I ordered the set. Choice of images is suitably realistic in my book and glad not to have any OTT Horror cliches.
They will be suitable for Historics.
Maybe not enough Skullzz if you want them soley for WHFB lol but again that suits me fine.
Overall gets my approval fwiw. Nice set and glad to have got one.
Right better crack on and start prepping and figuring out how best they can be set into some basing. 😀
where is the store?:S
