Happy Sunday!!
It’s the XLBS Show! Happy Sunday CoG’s.
With a title like, “ALIENS STOLE MY HOBBY!” – “AND A GLIMPSE BEHIND THE CURTAIN”
What more could we ask for! ??
Happy Sunday!
“It was made for @robertni to solve!” – I should probably give it a go sometime then!
Just tell your DM you want to do an INT check to solve it
Warren, I love you man, you exactly the same as me, I lie about what Im working on too. Love it, so funny. Even better that the lads know exactly what your like. Im so happy that I signed back up to backstage. I wish could help more.
Happy Sunday….
If eating old food is something that floats your boat, try a History Channel show called “Eating History”.
It is currently showing in the US and comes to the UK sometime in June.
My 9 year old daughter and me love that show. My older girls hate it. lol…
She denies it now, but my mother wouldn’t let us watch black and white tv shows when we were kids… if she was paying extra for a colour tv licence, we were going to watch in colour!
Indeed that was an awesome show, and some great hobby on show. Congrats to all the people who got golden buttons and hobby goody boxes.
Haha great show.
As a fellow Portly Gentleman I too know the pain of the shirt stain. The peasants of the world who lack the decency and class to possess an endowed gut region shall never know our pain. Pro-Tip I wear button up shirts and just unbutton them when I’m eating like trash then just wipe down.
Aggressive patrolling is a very Australian Tactic going back to WWI and still going on today. Aussies need to control No Man’s Land because there’s just so few of us to fight Wars of attrition.General Monash the first Australian Corps Commander in WWI called it Defensive-Offensive.If I remember right one of Morshead’s most famous quotes on Tobruk is “We’re not here to take it we’re here to give it”.
The stories around Tobruk are famous here. The Aussies would sneak into German lines and steal the keys from tanks and cars. They would dig up identified enemy minefields and during the night move them on the German supply roads. There’s no end of stories from Tobruk which makes it impossible to tell what’s real.
Is warren really allowed to throw shade at Lloyd after doing 58 minutes?
remember that was 58mins of no hobby time. Imagine how long it would have been if he done something
I called a restaurant to reserve a table once, and I gave them my name (John Wiik), and the guy at the other end freaked. ? At that point I had no idea that movie existed, so I was confused.
Happy XLBS Ladies & gentlemen, hope your all doing well
Happy Sunday!
I guess the sort of eejuts prepared to believe that footage was anything other than s#!t on the lens or an optical anomaly may be the sort who are congregating together demanding lockdown is removed…
@warzan– if you want to show her Sgt Bilko in colour there’s always the Steve Martin film (1996). She may never forgive you however and social services may need to be involved it was that bad.
As for Brenda’s Beaver, it’s one of a series of books in the style of a child’s book but with suggestive, puerile content. Just watch the woman reading it video and save some money!
@warzan here you go from deviantart

So cool!!!
Happy Sunday all. I’m honoured that the 15mm stuff merited an unboxing. There are 5 separate DBA forces of 12 elements each (Late/Sub Romans, Welsh, Irish/Scotti, Picts and Saxons) and to answer the question, “could they be combined into bigger forces?”, sure they can. The Picts and Scotti certainly combined to invade the Roman held territories of northern Britain in the 360s. The Late/Sub-Romans could be combined with the Welsh who could serve as auxiliaries for an Arthurian force. Equally the Romans and Saxons together could be used to represent the forces of Vortigern. There is plenty of flexibility in Dark Age forces as ordinary warriors tended to look quite similar. Looking forward to see what you come up with.
Warrens new toys are “Havok” by bluebird toys in 1997.. i still have some.. comes with rules…

😉
Happy Sunday, another brilliant video enjoyed the laughs. Thanks.
NSFW! NSFW! NSFW! Aliens stole @wrazans sphincter!
I need bleach XD
Anal bleaching may be a thing but @warzan ‘s butt should never be but the brown eye he was born to possess unless given to winking pink to begin with.
now I need more bleach…. much more…
And can the team please explain why the f-bomb is censored on the XLBS? I get it when it’s done for the YouTube videos but why the XLBS? All these owls in the video….
Happy Sunday. Almost didn’t make it, the lockdown Sunday quiet and the comfy blankets made for an unexpected lay-in. Great golden buttons this week, especially love the imagination and effort that’s been put into the Star Wars RPG will be following the project and sharing it with my friends ?
Ben’s reaction to Warren 🙂
still looks like a nun
@warzan if you need a little inspiration for your new 15mm minis try having a read or listen of Bernard Cornwell’s Warlord trilogy.
@richsh I’m hoping the announced TV series of this will be as good as the books
Me too. I’m hoping it is better than the Last Kingdom by having a lead actor that can act.
Happy Sunday XLBS,ers.
It’s the grapes of arse?
May the 4th is my birthday and had a Clone Wars game planned but I’ll have to play with myself now
I’m sure you’ll still be able to get pumped up for it though
For the record :
Most of @warzan cyphers were not easy.
I’ve needed more than a few extra hints to solve them.
Happy Sunday and may the 4th be with you.
Yay dial a drink well the toffs can order a crate of wine so why not.
May the third be with you . . . Wait what . . . Would love to know where those piggies came from, looked cool I thought, though it probably has a lot to do with how well they were painted. I know they were Warrens three little pigs answer to burrows and badgers but given the nature of how the subject was being discussed at the time I couldn’t help but think about Snowball and Napoleon. Lloyd is right with regards flash, currently looking at a trio of Warlord blisters and the flash on these particular models is quite scary. If I notice a bit when starting to paint I sometimes cut it off, other times my reaction is ah f*#k it. But then I often fail to finish painting things anyway.
malifaux piglets from the Gremlin faction
Trying to build some of those fecking Gremlins is why i don’t play Malifaux.Sausage fingers like mine were not designed to fit a tin, tiny left foot onto a tiny fecking Gremlin…
Fabulous show guy’s
I can see warzan getting DNA tests on the kid’s to if they were swapped in the maternity ward?
The really crazy thing about the UFO story for me was that it was the dude out of Blink 182 who broke it.
2020 is wild, man. Wild!
“I thought the smart thing to do would be to get Justin involved with this….” I’m getting that put on a t-shirt.
Aw man, this this the best starting video they’ve ever included
Happy Isolation Sunday
Oh Warazn, Too Much Information. lol Gerry looks terribly bemused while Ben shares my cringe. Only on XLBS would someone find this variety of content. Hope it all works out in the end…
A very Happy Sunday to all.
Hmm… with all the bum talk and alien probing with the closer for the video I think there can only be “Evolution” now for a game. Regarding the priest, nope, not a mini I sent. The only one like that went into Sam’s budle and it was a Reaper young mage. Now, with all the ramshackle assortment of figures running around I thought there needed to be some consolidation. I’ve found just the right figures in A SINGLE RANGE for you lot not just a one shot. No, @warzan that Privateer Press exclusive wasn’t you with a bottle of pink gin, rewatch Fight Club.
With just the cat and work to weigh me down at the present I will be making time to paint and send off a surprise that hopefully won’t get stuck in customs (sorry, for the last time @brennon ). That reminds me to ask, could I get that box set for the dirigible I sent?
Happy Sunday once again brilliant show guys….
Nice job guys
Happy Sunday!
warren – you need to show everyone the rest of the books – “Mary has a little pussy”, “Suzy likes to look at balls” – there’s a whole load of adult humour wrapped in childrens books!
I have to confess I do little on site but one thing I do love is the XLBS. You take the Lockdown blues away. Very good show chaps. I look forward to the next one. One again thank you for brightening the week.
Happy sunday!
Happy Sunday COGS!!! Great show lads. The funny thing about “Black and White” is. I seriously thought that my parents and grandparents grew up in Black and White. I remember asking my dad, “when did things become (in color)“. The look on his face. lol… Actually had a black and white TV in the 70’s. Yup… I’m a grognard…… and a rotary phone. With that extra long cord so you can talk in the other room. Occasionally that bad boy would slip out of your hands and go whipping back towards the phone. lol…. ahhh to be a Grognard
Great show guys, the wife got a kick out of the duck opening!
Really like that organizing system Warren. I’ve got to look here in the US for something similar for my book cases
Warren, regarding your mention of a game ‘somewhere between Saga and Mordheim’, you should check out Blood Eagle by Osprey. Basic rules are pretty simple and can handle anything from plain historic to ‘heroic’ (aka TV series version of Ragnar Lodbrok and his warband) to full on magic and fantasy creatures. It also has a system to stat any miniature either WYSIWYG or ‘counts as’.
happy late sunday cogs
Great show.. can’t unsee the Caldera @warzan…. can’t unsee! >.<
Excellent Star Wars stuff!
SO WHAT’S THE SOLUTION? 😉
