The next faction that we're going to be taking a look at from the world of Dark Age are the Dragyri!
Driven by honour and martial prowess these warriors harness the power of the elements to drive humanity into the shadows and off the face of Samaria.

These are the guys that have always interested me. Like the caste system, though wonder if they can be ‘mixed’, or just Caste only forces.
The Air don’t fit my play style, but the other two 🙂

Nice, fire and ice sounds very good. Would be cool to field big though minis.
Probably air caste if I went with the Dragyri with movement shenanigans galore.
Wow! The fire caste look like spartans from 300 with futuristic helmets. Give them nothing, but take from them everything!

I think I like the Fire element over the others.
The ice miniatures look cool and brutal, the air elements seem quite uninspiring apart from the ghostly weather controlling miniature, but the fire element minis look furious and vicious and I like the sound of dishing out a bit of ranged abuse before hammering in after your shots.
Those fire cast models look pretty good but I dont think they will keep me from going with salt flat nomads, then again maybe the fire elemental will sway me as rampaging creature of fire would fit my playstyle from most games

From the Dark Age mini’s I’ve seen so far, I prefer the other stuff over these. That said, I really would like to see how they play. Are these guys due new sculpts? I’d like to see what they can do now.

Love the look of the fire guys! I think I have seen the fire elemental & he is a brutal looking dude.
I am a huge fan of the Dragyri, particularly the Fire Caste as they seem like one of my preferred play styles, so far my favorite faction out of the entire series.

I really enjoy the fire cast…especially the fire elemental…looks like in the Pompeii alien from Dr Who..and I love Dr Who 😉
Wow i didn’t tought i would love those aliens but how nice they are looking now i am not sure any more of my second favorite faction !!
LOVE the fire caste models, really like the air caste art too, hopefully they’ll be due a resculpt soon…
I like the look of the Ice caste most of all, but having a whole race of glass cannons worries me. Since they were a slave race, is there no Water caste or no Fifth Element (with a single figure of Leelu, of course).
I would love to try this game with this faction
Love the feel of this faction. Got to love playing something totally different and for me the fire and ice are that! Can you mix and match??

Interesting faction. They didn’t quite interest me as the Outcasts faction but nice none the less.
Very much one of the hit or miss factions for me, some of the models are great and I’d love to see resculpts of the Air caste but even some of the newer models leave me cold. Still an interesting idea for an alien race though.
I think out of these I would go with the ice caste. I like their alien style.
I just know the new sculpts for the faction will be top tear. But I really want to see the Air cast, even though the fire caste got my attention. More fire power is never a bad thing. Unless its on the other side.
Core or Dargyri for me.
I love the idea of having elemental castes, can you field a combined force or do you have to pick a specific caste?

Ice elemental is still my favourite, I’m going to have to find it and my skarrd from storage.

This faction looks like lots of fun.
Nice faction, do like the Air Caste. However, I still prefer and still have my eyes on getting either the Forsaken or the Outcasts and just prefer their playstyles and I like the look of the models too.
Interesting, unique faction. Its nice to see something other than Space Elves, Dwarves and Orcs.
I to am looking forward to the re-sculpting of the Air Caste. But think I prefer the Brood for my monsters.

Dragyri Ice is for me.
I’ve always liked elemental forces in general, so this is a faction I’d be interested in trying. I just know it would end up Frozen themed as soon as my housemate gets her hands on it though 😉
Think Salt Flat Nomads are still my favourite so far but some of these minis look really cool

The caste factions never leapt out when I was looking through the Dark Age web site however getting to see them here they look really nice and have to admit being tempted by the fire and ice factions.

The Ice Caste Dragyri look brutal. Very imposing and great sculpts. I am torn as to which faction I want to play!
The Ice Caste sculpts look great and I have a habit of buying into factions that look cool regardless of how they might perform!

Fire Caste looks awesome with a tech-spartan look. Both other castes are some of the oldest models of the game, some aged well, some didn’t as much. Considering the revamped look of Forsaken (comparing new models to old), I am very much looking forward to their revamp as well as the sculpting improved a ton over the years.

I have a burning desire to build a fire Caste army.
But the playstyle of the Ice Caste looks like a breeze to pick up.
And the Ice Caste looks like cold blooded killers.

I will definitely be going for the Dragyri. Will probably field either the Fire Caste or the Ice Caste. Who knows maybe Ill throw both on the table just to switch it up.

Lovely mini`s, liking the colour scheme`s on all 3 faction`s. If i was going to choose one of them it would have to be the “Fire” guy`s, why i`m not sure i just feel drawn towards them.
For now the fire guy`s will have to take 2nd place, as i`m still feeling the pull for the “Slaver`s”………..

Very cool aliens, nice that they look quite different to the humans.
Great coverage so far Justin! You’ve really immersed yourself in the Dark Age universe. After the Operation Icestorm week, this is definitely my favorite theme week.
I wasn’t particularly interested in picking this up, mainly because there’s no local support (yet), but this series is making it harder to resist. That and the insane level of painting, selling the minis like nothing else can! 🙂
