Could The English be the faction for you?

Yo ho yo ho this is the faction for me!!
Liking the English faction for me.
The english and the french are the factions that really catch my attention. Its a good mix for an epic battle!
Probably my second choice after Unaligned
English faction is the one I will go for followed by the French as I will have to purchase both sides
Wouldn’t the English and the French largely have been mutually opposed to the Spanish in this region and period?
Its great that the miniatures are just one piece. it really makes things simple when you paint and the poses dont make parts hard to reach
Like them. My secound favourite.
I can honestly say… I can’t decide which one I’d choose first. Each one looks fantastic.
next to the dutch one of my favorite
When you are happy to cut it… deeper video than expected.
rule Britannia ! Britannia, rules the waves !
Britons never, never , never shall be slaves.
For the King and Queen… will the focus area move nirth so these can start to be Tory supporters of American pirates/smugglers?
I love the militia models that are reloading the muskets. I gotta pick up some for painting, hopefully I’ll get to play the game as well. And yay for single piece metal!
Looking good.
The figures you all bought with you look good to me. So at this point I am looking at getting into this game with English and Spanish factions. As to the new kickstarter I am leaning toward the pirate and privateer faction. Thoughts? I believe this will give me a well rounded start.
I think I would go with the Unaligned as my first choice and English second. Grenades sound fun but don’t they always? 🙂
Woo the English are coming. These videos are really gearing me up for more blood and plunder games, i have the brigantine and have been using black scorpion figures for my marines. Need to book another game and get my fix!
Ah, i didnt want to like these with the unaligned being the definate direction for me! Maybe my boys could have an english crew 🙂
“Don’t point that thing at me you Spanish chappie!”
I wonder if Sir Thomas Whetstone ever has a dull day? Geddit?
All the red! I like the looks of the English 🙂
these guys are cool but I’m sticking with the Spanish
I love all pirates games, until now especially LOTHS, but this one seems to be really a great game. love the sculpts.
thx
Think Spanish would be my faction
What do you do with a drunken sailor?
English pirates. All I can think of is the Pirates of Penzance.
ive not seen a single parrot or wooden leg
I’m having leanings towards English pirates too
This is my faction! The forlorn hope is amazing you need 8 of them at a minimum for good affect 🙂 The grenades are awesome! Militia for covering fire and let slip the Dogs of War 🙂
All that this game is missing is Captain Yellow Beard 🙂
Looks good, but still my no 1 faction are the unaligned, followed by the french….unfortunately no retailers selling the game in Germany so far. If anybody got any other information on that please let me know.
Really loving all these intros to Blood and Plunder and now utterly sold on putting together a band of raiders doing their best for blighty!
the enlish were my favorite faction. But now the DUTCH are coming.
I was thinking perhaps picking up the english, but Its gotta be pirates or spanish so far.
They look fun to paint, love the era this is set in…would love some more historical fluff but in the meantime being English I think I’d have to stay loyal and play the English.
Love also that there’s 3 commander options ^^
my favorite with the unaligned…great figs in one piece, with dynamic gesture : great
english are a good strong force
I feel this is my faction for sure….
Not my first faction thought but with Eduard teach will rock, but seems Blackbeard was later period!
Just found the faction for me !!! Thanks for the run down on each .. very helpful
I like the look of this faction, the figures are sweet.
But I would have to break out the tartan paint and call them Scottish.
Currently listening to Empire of Blue Water on audible atm. It’s the story of Henry Morgan so I’m thinking it’ll be the English for me!
Too hard to choose a faction – I can see myself eventually wanting them all. If I had to pick, English and Spanish would probably be where I’d start
Definitely one of my top two. Great looking figures to paint. Some detail but not too much.
My first faction would be The English and my second choice would be The Spanish.
Was there ever a doubt English through and through
Sipping a glass of Cockspur Rum whilst watching this!
Such a great game. Backed the first KS and went all in on this one also.
Somehow I don’t think these faction videos are helping….I just want all of them 🙁
I appreciate that they tried to be relatively historically accurate.
I just want tons of freebooters all over the place.
Given their higher resolve and flexibility it sounds like the English are the easy entry point faction.
Still, for style I think I’d go with the French and the Spanish.
And the Dutch of course once they’re released.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrr! Shiver me timbers!
Much as I love the English, those models are so cool, it is privateers and scurvy sea dogs for me I think.
Definately my faction òf choice
Looks a great game.
I have really enjoyed the Blood and Plunder week on Beasts of War. This game is so well thought out and it deserves all the love you can throw at it.
This might be my backup faction to the unaligned.
Single piece? Count me in!
Been looking forward to this one.
I tend to do the Brits if they’re available in a particular game, so this would be for me if I were to jump into this game.
I like the various troop types.
Well, this is the faction for me. For some reason I find myself unable to play factions other than English or Germans in any historical game, unsure why.
Also, really nice to see the models painted by you guys. I love seeing developers actually showcasing their hobby rather than just putting out production pictures. Getting pictures of a professionally painted model really helps showcase it for sure, but I find that I get more information on what the model would be like to paint seeing how the attempts of people that aren’t paid to paint have turned out. If that even makes sense.
Yep liking the English
I thank this one will be my faction
I have gone for all of the fractions so far
Because of the way the factions within nations work, you can basically take a “pirate” force of any nationality. Which is cool.
You don’t have to go unaligned if you want to play pirates.
Well at first they thought joining the English navy was the way to go, until the strict discipline and bad life on board her Masgesties ships, so one night they stole away in a small fishing vessel where they managed to pick up more crew and capture a sloop…the rest was history.
I’m thinking the English and French with a couple of sloops is the way to go.
Nice looking models.
Nice video!
Love this game.
I love how Mike and John sort of look like pirates.
Would love to paint some of these
I can’t wait to play this. I think this is the best new game in a decade! #blood&plunder #iwantthisgame #english #pirates #gottapaintthesemodels
I am pretty sure this is the faction for me.
This sold me. Just ordered the British starter with the sloop.
With all these pirates around, I think it would be best to have a few pirate hunters on my team.
I’d love to see a big ship battle, like 4 ships per side or so.
Game is looking awesome. If I had spare cash to start another system, this would be it.
I can’t wait to get started with this game!
Yes these are the faction for me
I think it really fits well historically to have the English be very balanced. So far I was going for French but I am intrigued by the English now.
Got to see these up close for the first time yesterday. I’m sold
Obligated to play the English for Captain Morgan… 😉
