VLOG: Dropfleet Commander Week – A Space Station Odyssey

With the ships out of the way it's time to have a look at creating some holographic objective markers. It's amazing to see what a little drybrushing can do for the detail on all the buildings.
Warren's joined John and Justin to find out what they have done to the Space Station with a glorious timelapse ending, this thing is a true beauty.

It looks like a slightly more gritty version of the stuff that was in Space 1999, Buck Rogers and UFO.
Battlestar Gallactica (the original) was pretty gray too.

Are the ground assets just for a Warren or are they for everyone? If they are for everyone is there a way to tell them apart? I do not own the game so I am not sure about the components.
The station with the attached ships is very impressive. Can’t wait for the name. I hope it includes a Maximus.

Looks great. I feel the ships or the station colors need to be a little darker so there is more contrast between the two because right now they kind of bleed together. Although that might be the look you want…someday I might even have my stuff to do my own super battle station.

That station is the hybrid of B5 and Fleet Command from Starship troopers. the only thing that would look more impressive would be some Cylon Base Stars…..
I suspect that Fleet Admiral @warzan has ascertained and checked that all of the firing solutions for all the close defence weapons will not impede any of the launch corridors of the fleet when mobilised.
I glad to see the @johnlyons finally has a small minion to assist him.
Awesome space station! I would like to make my own from the kit, but since I am a Kickstarter Commodore backer I of course haven’t received any of my rewards or even a shipping notice. My pledge is still processing. But the space station is cool.
Looks really great with all the ships on it and gives a great sense of scale. Babylon 5! I would like to build some really cool ships as well, and paint them, but alas I am a Kickstarter commodore backer so of course I don’t have any of my ship models. Had to go to retail first.
