What I’ve been working on are my American War of Independence minis from Warlord Games. The American Colonial Troops are half built but the British forces are moving slowly. I was in hopes of having enough of both done by this time to play some battles with my son-in-law but it seems that he and my daughter are in the middle of a two week “Stay in your house and see if you’ve been exposed to the plague”. So far neither have grown an extra arm so I think they will be ok.

Thanks again lads that was a cracker. If you want a break from printing have a look at the Reaper Bones kobolds because they have 3 different styles and the earlier ones might work as 15mm scale gnolls.

Yup, the only downside to Little Big Man is the cutting. In the end, it is worth it as they look great , plus for the Victrix Celtic infantry you have 76 different individual shield stickers – there currently isn’t a better way of doing it.

I’m doing another Can on transfers on irregular surfaces I’ll add these into that, it’s a fast thing to do they’re just a little more fiddly than regular waterslides

I would not risk Black Tree Design. I’ve had an order with them for over a year. They won’t answer emails, won’t answer the phone. I’d not touch them with yours!
I got mine a few years ago, they ran into issues a while back and I don’t know if they’ve recovered or not.
Having seen the complaints of some people who ordered from them this year, sadly they don’t seem to have recovered yet.
Yeah. They have had their issues and they are still ongoing. It’s a shame as I have a handful of their Greeks and they’re ruddy marvelous.
Did you you make you payment via paypal, reason I ask I placed a order with a small company for some paints that never arrived and my attempts to reach them met a closed website and mail return failures. Last night went through the PayPal dispute process. Loaded the electronic PayPal invoice as evidence and within the hour the store owner contacted me with an apology and provided a full refund. PayPal seem really keen on tracking down refunds for undelivered items so if your looking to get your money back to spend elsewhere I was thinking that might help you out.

Thats a pain in the fundamental, your right went back and checked for you and they give you 180 days to get a dispute in which is daft in my book but guess there’s reasons. It’s a real shame Black Tree had some lovely stuff, thanks for posting about your issues with them I might have made a purchase myself and had the same problem.

Well that was a very enjoyable episode, not sure on its accuracy at times but suppose thats not were here for!
@warzan you mentioned Camel spiders lol Our gun had pulled up into position and we were setting up camo nets etc. I was on top of the gun sorting out our signal gear when I noticed the lads were crowding round looking at something on the ground. A camel spider had wandered into to the gun area and well squaddies being squaddies not knowing what it was started poking this poor bugger and it got got really pissed,reared up and jumped forward. Well you’ve never seen half a dozen burly arsed squaddies shift so fecking fast in all your life… lol
We woke up one morning to find a flaming scorpion was wondering around over us on our sleeping bags. At one point he stopped turned round looking directly at one of the lads whilst sat on his chest flexing his tail. We managed to flick it off without it stinging him, it was killed and everyone of scrambled out that tent like it was on fire lol…

A sly little entry on “Why We’re Here” from Gerry. I believe this is a mini manual given to each presenter as part of their welcome packet to remind them when shit hits the fan. It must be a rough time for Squirrelmaster @avernos to have to pull out that ‘sacred tome’ in front of all us COGs. Then again it might’ve been just more crap he had lying about in plastic baggies that he came across like his U-boat flags.

I’d put a banner bearer or some kind of scenery in those blanks on the big round bases. But all in all I think that your 15mm stuff looks awesome and when you get that all on the table it will look perfect. Maybe shade wash then highlight those trees though. Looking play-do esk!(pushy bastard ain’t I! lol). You guys shamed my hobby output this week. Gotta get busy

@warzan yeah I found one of those camel spiders in my boots during the 1st Gulf War. His stay and life were both short lived!

@avernos and @brennon I have been a little distracted the last few weeks but I got around to watching this (for the hobby tips-kind of like looking at Playboy for the articles) but I was going to implore you to rein in Warren’s torturing of history and science, but I don’t know if I ever laughed so hard…and really, I am building elves and goblins, fauns and centaurs, etc. for Oathmark for these grandsons…cursed elves…anyway, only a fellow without sin living in a glass house should cast the first stone, er, something like that. I have to admit, watching Warren develop his 15mm games has been…interesting, but I am still looking forward to some playthroughs of Oathmark and Clash of Spears. Clash of Spears is interesting to me, but Oathmark has caught fire in my juvenile game group.
