biggabum , I just painted it on with a cheap brush , then stippled it with a very stiff short bristled brush . You can really control where you add it . For example , the machine gun bump and armored cover , as well as the exhaust covers were cast on the T-34 ( among other things ), it’s very easy to paint it on these small items and then stipple the amount of texture you want . When dry if it looks to rough or maybe , too smooth you can go back and touch it up . The problem I find is the consistency of the liquid green stuff . Some is the texture of paint , other bottles , you can scoop it out like pudding , I wonder how much of a shelf life it has from manufacture to not usable ? I also wonder how long ago the stuff left the factory in the UK , before I buy it here , a month ago , a year ago ? The last couple of bottles I got didn’t last a week after opening . Any one know of a way to get lumpy liquid green stuff back to a smooth , usable consistency ? The Italeri JS 2 has thin plastic strip added to the rear mg mount , then textured with LGS for a rough cast effect
