I’ve discussed my “infamous” tournament experience before and a number of times on The HotLZ podcast but its the main reason I stopped playing 40K, probably not the only one but it killed my passion for the game to a very large degree.

 

Long story short it was a 2 day tournament, 6 games throughout the weekend, during that ENTIRE weekend I did not roll a single success all weekend, my Sanguinary Guard didn’t survive a single round of combat, the only time I rolled high was when checking leadership, it was a complete atrocity and the reason “Rolling a Bruce” began to become a regular phrase during out Dropfleet podcasts.
