Mucking about with Kill Team lists for Space Marines. I have a box of scouts, a tactical squad box and 3 push fit spares. So figuring if I do 2 kill teams and give each 2 scouts with sniper rifles and camo cloaks, 3 tactical marines, a marine gunner with heavy weapon and a sergeant with close combat kit I’ll land somewhere approximately in the mid 90’s points wise for each group. So the question now becomes one of whether or not I try to greenstuff salamander skin on the shoulder pads and tabards for the Salamander team. I might run a couple more test pieces before I commit. I suppose I could just add it to the sergeant and leave it at that if it’s too fiddly.

Second squad will be Blood Angels. Was considering doing Space Wolves but the sniper rifles didn’t really seem as appropriate. Might look to pick up another box and do some conversions later on. The other force I had been considering was Black Templars, none of the other ones I wanted to have a go at were involved in the 3rd war for Armageddon (and clearly we are all about historical accuracy in a fictional space future game setting 🙂 ).
