@sundancer that Art of Star Wars sounds like a much better reference point for the Boba Fett paint scene than that terrible Christmas Special… Just thinking about it… /Shudder – somebody pass the brain bleach please…  Nice finished job on the mini 🙂 Hope your daughter is feeling better. 60 points for responses and hobby progress.

@woldenspoons I’m not a great one for 40k lore but I did read the Dark Imperium novel – the sense I got was that once Guilliman was back on deck he pretty much spent a few centuries dropping Primaris marines about the galaxy and trying to repair all the damage done from the Great Rift tearing itself open. There is probably a fair bit of detailed lore around this online – the book just covers some fleet battles and one planetary assault against chaos before everyone got pulled back to the Ultramar sector to deal with a Nurgle infestation (which in and of itself might be a nice one to go with?). Would dial counters or flags on bases work ok for you as an alternative to beads or buttons? Am with you on the building – I think it’s the parts clean-up and the gap filing that just breaks me 🙁 40 points for question responses and feedback

@oriskany yes afraid so – at least something cool fell out of that. OK, I’m being harsh I know – Star Wars was just a kids adventure film before all the hype built up around it so this is where the Xmas special was pitched at and all… But I really can’t bear to watch more than 90 seconds of it personally :-/ Nice batRep for the opening part 🙂 Really good demonstration of the fact that hex and counter games can have a really strong narrative component – perhaps more so than with representative miniatures given the scale ofac tions which you can undertake. 80 points for responses, hobby progress and writeup.

@mage nice progress on the projects. would be a great bonus if the magma Troopers came together quickly for you. Hope everything is tracking OK in the various spheres of your life. 80 points for hobby progress and responses/feedback to others.

@horati0nosebl0wer Oh no! Glad you are OK. Not having access to a car when you usually rely on one is just so inconvenient. Hope you hear back re the insurance soon. Sorry to hear that the problems have been snowballing for you 🙁 Very cool tunes and yes can hear the similarity to Xandria. Ugh – terrible pun! 🙂 50 points for feedback and tunes.

@rayzryr yeah he’s into AoS Stormcast apparently – and he’s not doing too bad a job painting either from the couple of photos I’ve seen. He’s not quite as far as gaming yet but he is on the way. Yes saw that Indiegogo one too – Don’t think they’ll hit the baker goal unfortunately which is probably the point I would have jumped in on. Might wait and see how these look post production and order directly form the seller afterward 🙂 Nice start on the orcs – varied clothing but all in the same palette – looks good 🙂 heh, love Fear Factory – got to see them three times at various places over the years. 60 points for responses/feedback, tunes and hobby progress.

@elessar2590 congrats on the close fought game of BA – those are always the most fun 🙂 Glad to hear you are making further progress on the ACW campaign. Keen to see the new project once it’s up. 20 points for feedback and responses.

@irishsteve I like the approach with the rest of your to-do pile being out of sight. I might need to start using that one rather than having everything ranked up staring at me in a disappointed manner form my workbench… Glad you don’t have any speed humps when it comes to parts of the hobby that you don’t enjoy. 30 points for question responses.
