Yes, the last hurrah of the fully armoured horsemen. Although most European powers still had cavalry called Cuirassiers, some with back and breast plates, up to 1914 and the start of the First World War.  12th August 1914 a brigade of German Cuirassiers tried to assault a position at Halen, but were defeated by Belgian machine guns and artillery fire.

Luckily my Cuirassiers should only (!) have to worry about 17th century musket and cannon fire 🙂
