@thedace it’s as @piers has said any game can be adapted to play with multiple people. What works best for our group is games that’s not strict in the activation, a more random activation works better.
Games like Bolt Action that uses dice from a bag, Battlegroup that uses dice for the number of orders you can perform in your turn, Chain of Command that uses dice to activate certain units, Sharp Practice that uses cards or chips to activate leaders.
These are some games that you all could build a small force for and colour code the dice for your own units that your commanding for Bolt Action and different coloured chips or cards for Sharp Practice
As for Battlegroup, you could have an overall commander and assign orders to player controlled units and this would also work for Chain of Command. Chain of Command also has a free pdf that outlines how to play the game with multiple people.
These are just some ideas of games we played with 4 people, but it depends on what sort of games you all like to play
