You say that, and I’m more than happy for OTT to have my money, but £5 a month is more to some of us than others.  I’ve been spending a lot of time on Twitch recently and I cannot afford to go subscribing to any channels.  I could,  but I’d end up nickel and diming myself to bankruptcy, but there’s people on there throwing around gift subscriptions all over the shop.  I’ve no idea how they can just throw away £20-30 like its nothing.  People talk about these costs as being “just one coffee a month”.  For some of us the idea of spending that much on a coffee is unthinkable.  I can buy an entire jar of powder for that much.

In short, whats a large price and what isn’t is relative, and some of us don’t have as much to spare as others.  This is just something I’ve been thinking about recently due to twitch, and not specifically triggered by OTT in any way.  I’m not claiming to be poor.  I don’t consider myself poor, but perhaps that’s because I don’t buy £5 coffees etc.  I am a tightarse though so perhaps that’s all these thoughts are.  I always feel I get my moneys worth from OTT, and that’s before considering that I’ve probably won all my money back in prize support over the past few years.  I’d like to support the twitch channels I go to, but it all adds up.
