I’d never say that it isn’t great value for money. I much prefer the xlbs to the front stage weekender.

However for me it seems that as the site/channel becomes more commercial (possibly the wrong word) there is less and less depth to the content. FoW FTW is still my favourite series and I don’t even particularly like flames of war as a game system.

The background/lore chats with AJ were really good as well.

Now it just seems a churn of games that get an intro game, maybe a follow up game and a chat with the designer. Nothing massively wrong with that except it just feels like and advert a lot of the time whereas before it felt like the team were involving us in their hobby.

Not entirely sure I’ve exactly put my point across but for me it’s just the feel of the site has changed.

Still value for money though.
