1. Terrain and terrain set-up. Do you just fling it together or does it have to look correct?
In a tournament as long as I have some cover I’m not too worried. When I play 40k versus my regular opponent I like to recreate shelled versions of places we know like the gaming shop, where we work etc.
2. I watched a video where they were showing off a starter-set. Are you a straight from the box kind of girl or do you buy a rulebook, a few minis, some other bits, then get going? What do you think about “starter-sets”?
I usually build starter sets as described but then start head swapping etc on duplicate sets. I am a big fan of starter sets, 1 player and 2 player. Very much looking forward to my KoW3 one arriving in about a month. Agreed about the Ariadna starter, sorry, USAriadna. 100% used everything in the box. Then bought more.
3. Did some reading to pass the time. Books to movies tend to not work very well, but is there any you like/love?
Graham McNeill’s Mechanicum series was written like a TV show and would be great to watch. As for book to film Running with the Demon by Terry Brooks.
@unclejimmy so you don’t like fantasy. Fair enough. Also I enjoyed the film The Dark Tower and I enjoyed The Dark Tower book series. Not sure I’d pretend they were the same thing.
4. Comedy sucks. Not all, but most. Your favourite double-act(s)?
Edmondson & Mayall. I saw Bottom Live and it was brilliant. I also like Mitchell & Webb. Both the series and of course the Almighty Peep Show.
My pledge this week is nothing. I’ve got a busy week but if I do it will just be working on bases for my Hellboy and Vanguard Infernals.
