phew … it’s back. A weekend without OTT would have been terrible indeed.

OTOH … it might have resulted in me actually complete building my orks. 😉
I also am planning to start a 3rd secret project using Tanks & Fury boxed sets from Flames of War.
It’s a project with a deadline as it is sort of planned as a gift for my nephew this Christmas.
However lack of progress on my orks has delayed that a bit.

Nintendo releasing a new game that I *eh* want to buy isn’t helping

1) What do you do when BoW/OTT is down?

That never happened before.I need a plan next time so I *eh* went to bed earlier than normal.

2) On a scale from “The Phantom Menace” to “The Empire Strikes Back” how excited are you for the Star Wars Weekend?
What’s this ‘Phantom Menace’ you speak off ?
There were only 3 movies and those Rebels and Clonewars CGI series.
So on a scale of 1-5
I’m at 4 … may get to 5 if the ‘goodies’ that are supposed to be part of the digital ticket are revealed.

3) Did you ever go to a convention/tournament/event for the sole purpose to get an exclusive mini?

Never had been to an event/convention that had exclusive anything.
The only exception is the ‘Spellenspektakel’ (a boardgame convention) which tends to have a limited supply of goodie bags during the first day. However those never had anything special (a lot of advertising material), so it’s not like you missed anything if didn’t get one.

If it hadn’t been for ‘Flames of war’ at that convention I might not have discovered OTT/BoW.
It’s also where I saw SW:Legion before it got released.
At that time it didn’t look interesting, but I think that was because I’m not a Star Wars fan and I wanted to see what FFG would do with the license. The clonewars are a much better subject for a wargame than the movie trilogy IMHO, because there is so much more content and actual armies for both factions. I’m sure Star Wars fans will disagree and point towards various extended universe fluff.
