I’m not a cosplayer but I’ve done my looking. As far as a quick and dirty primer I agree tht there is a lot out there with Google. I’d recommend also looking to Worbla as a thermoplastic material. It can be pricier than other routes but you can get some good results. I was at MAGfest years ago and had the good luck to be able to photo a lady dressed as Enchantress (photo somewhere on one of my old drives). We conversed about her outfit and materials and I got more insight into the usefulness of Worbla. It does pretty well from my point of view.

@blinky465 That does seem to be a trend for the most part but he does paint from time to time. Let us see if this is one of those times he pleasantly surprises us all.
