Well that’s the first time I’ve heard of GW not being able to fulfil it’s own limited release pre-orders (hopefully this might give them a wake up call and stop with the “marketing” and just put the items in stock just like the rulebooks). We’ll still awaiting the news to see if the Goliath Tactics Cards (rules) are printed in the latest book or not.

It’s daft because of all the good things I see GW do (the minis are fantastic) they always seem to find a way to “sour” the pot. Usually it’s due to some form of marketing of late (back when they had other ways to annoy their playerbase 😀 ). But it’s not just Necromunda that suffers from this issue, it’s across the entire stable of GW games (BB, AT, 40K, AoS) all have “cards” (some essential to gameplay) that GW decided to make “limited”. The true fix here would be to remove the rules from the cards from the games and back into the rulebooks (where they belong).

On the Contravirus issue, I’d imagine GW had them book to ship before the Chinese New Year (where basically China shuts down for almost a month), where the workers all return back home for the celebrations (that’s why it’s such a long event). If anything it might affect the next shipment (Orlocks).

…but surely someone outside of China still owns a printing press (only issue here being GW made the cards a non-standard size for daft reasons, so the die-cut isn’t going to be available for someone else to do things (see what happens when you over design stuff 😀 )

?
