I know what you mean. Before Xmas I made a point of putting an hour aside at the end of the day; even if it was midnight, I’d give myself an hour for painting (assembling and cleaning was done outside of this, it was just an hour, straight up, for painting). I was more productive in that dedicated one hour I specifically put aside than any amount of time just “bimbling around”.

I look at my finished shelves and much of what is on there (albeit a tiny amount) was done during dedicated hobby time. I haven’t done it since Xmas. Total minis finished this year? Zero. (minis, not terrain).

I think it’s time to implement “hobby time in the evening” again….
