Unlike other social media (Twitter in particular but also to an extent Facebook) I  don’t really have anything against Discord.  The only reason I don’t use it is time – it’s just another distraction (and I am so easily distracted).

I am sure it’s possible to set up groups and forums with group permissions but obviously there’s an amount of admin required to achieve that and I don’t know how big the overhead is.
