When the show is “talking heads” I’m not overly bothered whether it is on zoom or around a table in the same room.  Having Ben able to interact more effectively is a benefit, but now zoom is a thing I’m sure he could go back to the old format and have a two-way link instead of the old audio-only link he used to have.

What I am more interested in seeing return is stuff that is a bit more variety.  Like the “Warren-meets-mat” segments, and the live paintalongs and such.  I would really love to see Free getting to grips with painting up and playing with her Malifaux faction for instance, and seeing some more innovative coverage around that.  Hopefully next week’s UK Game Expo coverage will be the start of that sort of thing returning.

I totally accept that during the lockdown it was impossible to do that stuff, and am grateful we got what we did, and it was enough to keep the lights on.  But I am hopeful the coverage will return to a bit more variety now “freedom day” has come and gone.
