Just when you think that GW can’t sink to lower depths … they manage this :

You’d think for a game set in this sort of battle and with so few figures surely someone must have been wanting to do that with the core rules, right ?

I don’t have any words for how bad this looks.
It’s as if they stole the DLC idea from EA and ran with it …
You want to open doors ? Nope, you can’t … unless you buy the next expansion.
You want to blow stuff up ?
Nope … wait for [faction] who have this as their schtick and maybe you will get half baked rules to do it.

They’ve got good models that usually are easy to build.
I can only think of one thing : they are a business and really don’t care about the effect they’re having.
I think we can consider us lucky that GW haven’t discovered 3D printing as a revenue source …
