I regretfully must disagree with the choice made, Boris is clearly a hugely talented chap, but I think his selection is premaature, he doesn’t even have a touch of grey in that beard.
A very compelling point!
Might I add two additional names to that potential list:
- Sir Patrick Stewart who fought by the side of King Arthur and Excalibur, fought for the spice on DUNE and played major roles in *two* franchises (Star Trek and those weird super mutant persons) And let’s not forget his service in Wild Geese II and Codename: Emerald
- Sean Bean who died more on screen deaths then I had gala lunches. He shot historical (more or less) accurate, died in Middle Earth, died in some other fantasy tv series, fought along with James Bond and died in many more films. Also: he has more then one actual miniature of his likeness in LotR and I think Sharpe.
That being said and fearing the wrath of my Co-Host @avernos for speaking up against Boris I will not cast a vote but say: there are many worthy men and women for the seat of Grand Master.
