Pretty sure the newest iteration of D&D has banned the word race and the phase  (“half*anything*”)

 

Guess we’re not even supposed to be thinking about such things. ?

 

I tried 5e but ended up going back to AD&D.

 

Btw it was Humans and Elves for the Half-Elf.   Human being the element needed for any mix-race.
