GW day ?
Didn’t pay any attention to it, because when I tried looking at the WH Community page it gave me 500-errors.

I might be tempted by the new big box of stompy kniggets that is one of the new big boxes, but that’s mostly because I want to build those things and GW kits tend to be pretty good. There’s no way I’d be using them to play 40k.

And the Orks vs Halfling set looks nice, because it’s Orks and it reminded me that Orktober is on.
Anyone know what the supposed ‘solo’ rules are like that GW got for this iteration of Killteam ?

Speaking of Orktober …  Kromlech’s offering is soo tempting :

As for Golden Demon results ?
I think part of the problem is that GW’s own standard paint jobs tend to be pretty good and it’s all GW bits.

Maybe it’s me, but the overall painting style appears to be similar across a lot of models as well ?

I’ve seen what proper scale modelers can do with all sorts of models, busts and dioramas.
The variety of things and the stupendously high standard make that awesome.

I plan on going this year too. There’s practically nothing that is directly related to tabletop hobby, but it is a nice day to spend looking at pretty things. Marco Frissoni was there last year and he merely got a ‘bronze’ medal for his entries. If you’ve seen the things he does on his youtube channel then you’ll have an impression of the level of talent on display at that show.
