My Age of Sigmar tournament at the weekend was looking to sell out, then the GHB landed a week before it. Doh!

@mage do watch the recent hobby stream. I think it’s on a loop. It shows a lot of interesting stuff about the Contrast paints.
It was very interesting to watch, although I only got to see the beginning and end.

It may require a lot of adjusting to using them given your skill, but now that I’m starting to grok the style required I think it will definitely be good for getting my minions done. I’ve got ideas bubbling for my rank&file grots, but none about my troggoths & leader types.

As for my minions … no progress yet. I haven’t had a time to sit and hobby because I had more important issues to resolve and I got a new job that’s a lot closer to home as a result 😀
Heatwave isn’t doing me any favours either (luckily no 40+ degrees as predicted) and I need to find some space to do the priming that’s needed too.

Anyways … I am having another kickstarter related package arrive at a local pickup point ‘soon’. Tracking says there was a routing error at the local hub which caused a delay, but I won’t have time to collect it until friday anyways.

oh … and then there’s the OTT 40k Hobby weekend to think about. A digital ticket sounds interesting as a to kickstart yet another army. I think I’ll use that as a carrot to get my minion army up and running LOL

Painted more of my test Night Lord. Speed paint kinda thing but not too happy. Here’s the vid. Substituted for the blue and grey, and stopped shy of the black wash
