I’m a bit late to the party with this one, but here goes:
- Name: Chris
- Build Date: Nov 1975
- Status: almost married after 22+years (two grown-up kids)
- Location: Brighton, UK
- Occupation: self employed, erm, inventor/engineer? Freelance brain for hire
- Current miniature games played (all too rarely): Blood Bowl, Space Hulk, homebrew rulesets for online gaming.
Would be good if you could click on a name to see the profile, and see this kind of info. If nothing else, it’ll save me making up backstories for everyone until I get to know them 😉
February 17, 2021 at 12:03 am #1612158Greetings, all, Martin here for the first time on the OTT forums. Nice place you have here! 🙂
I’m a semi-pro sculptor and painter, with a few runs on the board doing work for companies like Studio Bergstrom, Vanguard Miniatures, and Victoria Miniatures.
I’ve been putting paint on tiny people since the 80’s, and selling them since the 00’s. Even did a stint with GW as a red shirt. Don’t judge.
Right now I’m beavering away in my secret underground lair in the outback, hammering out rules and sculpts for my own company – Miniature Martin – and my first game – Saucer War One. I’ll post about that as news comes to hand.
Meanwhile, I’m currently addicted to flying battleships… I’ve bought three copies of Catalyst Games’ Leviathans last year, and printed two 6×4′ hexmats for my 40 ships to chuff along. Now I’m sculpting new turrets and detail-up parts and am planning complete repaints for them. Please help me.

@Macrossmartin Too late. Already judged. Sentence will be delivered with carrier pigeon.
Also welcome to the loonies.
