Covid had nothing on the kind of lockdown we’ve got going on here. EVERYWHERE is shut! It’s going to take me until 4pm to find somewhere to get a coffee and a bite to eat. By which time, it’s nearly teatime. So the hunt to forage, just to stay alive, begins all over again. No time for hobby for me today!

In other news, I saw a video on making game art with AI and – while I was originally a bit sniffy about the results at first – I think, using this repetitive improvement approach, @warzan might be onto something.

You’re mistaking going out for a coffee with being thirsty! Likewise, I don’t need food. I need to go somewhere to eat 😉

(Maybe it’s simply because then I can justify my lack of hobby progress on “well, I can’t paint if I’m not at home – I don’t know). What I do know is that there’s a pub a short bike ride away, showing the royal stuff on the telly (presumably so they’re not “shamed” for staying open today) and there aren’t many spaces left for a pub lunch – so I’m off out now, hobby will have to wait!

So I disappeared again for a few days…my apologies… But I did play a game of 40k! I also lost… But my Crusade still has a 50/50 win rate! I have also only played 2 games with it… 😛 I took some pics and was going to do a battle report and everything, but once the game got started I sort of got into it and stopped caring about reporting on it, so… I have pics of mine and my brother’s armies that I might upload later on. I also got a bunch of stuff primed, so more painting can commence soon once I get caught up on the schoolwork I’m behind on. It’s mainly Space Marine stuff, but I also have the next 20 Tommies for Bolt Action primed for painting so that I can hopefully play with them soon.

Yeah keeping track of pictures for batreps is hard. I feel it would be way easier to have a stationary high res video record everything and you pic out some still images later 😉

@sundancer It deff would be easier to just film and take stills, but getting the shots around the terrain becomes tricky too…unless I mount a camera to the ceiling. 😛

@horati0nosebl0wer the devil is in the detail… but don’t dig to deep… you might wake up ancient evils 😉

@crazyredcoat if money was no concern I would just put some gopro cameras around on and on the table and let them take pictures in intervals all the time. But of course that would leave you with a mountain of unusable data XD
