Whelp, I finished up the group of Pirates, so that’s one more group of minions dealt with and out of the way.

 

Meanwhile, I decided I’m going to take a break from Conan and get working on my Fallout:Wasteland Warfare stuff while I wait for the game to show up. I have never made any real terrain before, MDF or otherwise, but I found a great new site that does great pre-painted MDF buildings based out of Texas called Black Site Studios. So I assembled their basic “Shotgun Shack” and did some minor weathering to break it in. I want to do more with it but I am unsure where to start or what wouldn’t look all right in the Fallout universe. Still, I’m pretty pleased for my first attempt.

A quick piece from Reaper’s Bones for a D&D game that I was asked to paint. I tried to get smaller details in the rusted sword/chainmail, dirt on the robes and eye glow to bring a bit of life to the undead. I think I’ve found a good non-black black (NBB?) paint in Midnight Blue from Reaper and slap it with GW’s Nuln Oil.
