Yeah. I accidentally started too many projects. The Gloomhaven minis are done. The trays are built and populated. The Scourge are finished, and I hope to finish the Skinwalkers today, or at least this weekend. That will leave me with just the Orks which will be far more manageable. I usually just have on the go the project I’m painting now, and the project I’m prepping to paint next.
September 8, 2018 at 7:35 pm #1264301@horus500 those troops look great. Are you going to flock the unit bases to match?
@denzian great idea to use nature as your back drop for the rebels. It reminds me of hours spent with Star Wars action figures in the backyard when I was a kid.
@chaosgorka Sweeeeeeet ride!
@piers as always, beautiful work.
@silverstars I think you nailed the weathering, well done.
@warhammergrimace great step by step. Love seeing figures come together.
@janus1004 you just keep getting better and better. Nice blends on the skintones.
@sundancer Very nice terrain work there. Those rivets took some patience.
@horatiOnoseblOwer I really like your rust effects on the weapons. Did you sculpt the base?I started painting my MicroArts Wolsung truck Thursday night during our regular online RPG. I finished it up this morning watching the Weekender. Here are a couple of shots but there are a lot more on my Project Blog;
September 8, 2018 at 7:59 pm #1264307Ok I got carried away……..something that started as junk crafting with the little one has turned into something far more involved, scrach building is such fun.
Any one have a space Ork pilot / driver model they can spare? WIP
September 8, 2018 at 8:05 pm #1264308September 8, 2018 at 8:07 pm #1264309A few Hand of Glory KS WIP figures painted with INSTAR paints:
* Pine Green
* Mud Brown
* Radiant Red: Red metallic over red matte paintHoG figures let you “hot swap” hands and miniatures with magnets. Sculpts have built-in cavities for magnets included in the kit. Only three figures and 140+ hands and weapons to go! 😛
September 8, 2018 at 8:37 pm #1264314Thanks @144artist … 140 rivets…. XD Nice car you’ve got there yourself.
September 9, 2018 at 12:04 am #1264358@144artist Thanks man. Your truck looks great too.
So not a big update but the lettering is finished on this gaslands commission. Some more d&d stuff next then a bit of 40k.
September 9, 2018 at 11:06 am #1264472Thanks for the compliments @144artist. Yeah I will finish the movement trays to match the bases. Was contemplating giving the Starks winter themed bases but then I have to do their allies the Tully’s like that too. And it looks odd when they battle the summer based Lannisters.
btw you painting is great too. That truck looks fantastic!
September 9, 2018 at 11:52 am #1264478Im looking for comments to improve this bit of terrain
i think a brown wash on the aquarium plants is needed! Thoughts?
September 9, 2018 at 1:23 pm #1264519This is the Kill Team I’m currently working on and these are actually the first Space Marines I’ve painted since 2011. The last lot I painted were from the Space Hulk game for a friend.

as well as completing some of my Star Wars legion:
September 9, 2018 at 4:39 pm #1264640I found this today. It’s a 1/72 conquistador from Caesar miniatures. Not sure how long ago I painted it
