I always have too many projects at once that I’m working on… Hope to get some of them done by the end of the year.
These are a mix of Deepwars and Shadowsea minis I now have on my table. Sometimes I just pick another mini to try a certain colour, hence so many at once.

Also recently finished Captain Balthazar Drake to build up a Shadowsea team…
October 7, 2018 at 5:18 pm #1282263And today I finished the second squad – named 3rd Squad – for my Bolt Action Easy Company:

Again to see more pictures and the entire army go to my project:

Captain Zeibron Huelsenbach of the Death Strike 2nd Company reporting for duty.
Better photos when I get all of them out on parade in a couple of days. Just so happy to be over that 100 man mark. (looks over at pile of unfinished Marines) Yes, happy. Feel like I’ve broken the back of this, and I may even buy something new for them to celebrate. (stares harder at groaning pile of unfinished Marines) Okay, maybe not yet TBH. Lolcakes.NB – all the names for the characters for the Death Strike stem from the home planet being “Nihilas” – I decided they’d be “Nihilists” – so have taken names/places to do with Nihilism/Dada etc. This guys surname is a nod to Richard Hulsenbeck – the guy that stabbed a knife into a dictionary to find the name “Dada” as the name for the avant garde “anti-art” movement. Who knew wargaming could be so enlightening? Wondering how to work the “Nihilist terrorists” from the Big Lebowski into it too, and have also promised never to call anyone Nietzsche cos it’d be too obvious, even though the Strike Cruiser is called the Zarathustra, from one of his best known works.

Some british artillerymen for an upcoming napoleonic battle in November, need to furnish them with a gun and base big enough to fit them all on next.

I’ve finally finished off the first batch of 1980’s Ork Boys and I’m most of the way through my second batch. I’m not 100% sure on the primary colours, but it let me add some classic Ork colouring to my more modern scheme. Should have the second batch done this weekend and then I can start work on the solos and vehicle crew. That’s 24 of 48 Ork models painted, and 13 more almost done.
