We're wrapping up this Battle Report between Killian and Carlos as they trade off for command of the tabletop with some fancy new rules and plenty more besides from Human Sphere N3 for Infinity.

Onyx seemed weird at first – a mish-mash of a bunch of units from different races, but it actually makes a lot of sense for CA!
Well, Killian’s dice weren’t as bad as the last battle report! Two interesting armies.

Killian’s luck with dice rolls seems as bad as mine! Thought I may take up Infinity as it uses D20s instead of D6s, but by the looks of it they’re just as evil! 🙂

Nice to see how the smoke screen getting used, just a pity Carlos failed the roll for the next one when he was in the smoke. The game could of completely finished differently than the way it did……………..

I feel like the symbiomates should have to decide before rolling for attack if it will be used. After rolling is pretty amazing.

The new Combined Army stuff is so awesome! I’m so glad we got to see them in this batrep! The Tohha are cool, too, but those dark, menacing Combined… man, I gotta get me some of those! 😀
I cannot imagine how tired was Carlos after recording 5 videos, and then to Adepticom… respect.
It is a wish, but if I win any of the giveaways it will be painted with as much quality I can as a gift for my best friend´s wedding, he will get married in the USA and being unemployed doesn’t help to show my love. I hope one day we could meet and play Infinity (we started when in every box there was a tiny paper with the rules, call it N1)

I even do things like roll 1 on a legates in CC with his martial arts, so I really do feel your pain

This is why i love infinity…..the drama, the tense roll offs, the unpredictability of how ANY model can take out ANY other model, and how intensely the players strategize and plan…. only to get stressed out when things go south. What a game!

Starter box with Tohaa and Combine when?
Mordok are amazing. Fun tip. (Credit goes to Fritz at my lgs) Since super jump makes jump a short skill, it makes it possible to go prone before the jump order to fly through tiny windows or other gaps not normally allowed by anything except base size 0. Its hilarious to imagine those bulky looking Morats flying through little openings.

Got a rules question:
It wouldn’t have mattered much, but aren’t Unidron Batdroids REMs with Str 1 anymore or does viral now work against these units, too (15.05 min)?
Nice battle report especially tense towards the end seeing that rodok tanking all those hits shows that while slim there’s always a chance of success.
Good win for the Tohaa, as I predicted.
I’m soooo sad Carlos didn’t use the Symbiobomb the Kotail was carrying… that would have been devastating to the Morats close to the room, better than shooting them.

That firefight in the last room was epic!
Hade a game like that once where my Montesa managed to get the final objective on the last order for the win while receiving a hail of led by some space monkeys. But everything bounced of the armor. It was such a movie moment and that is what i like about this game, al those cinematic moments!
Fireteams take some practice when navigating/avoiding ARO’s, super jump is nice but you have to be really alert….against these unwanted ARO’s…
I like that the Combined Army use such a friendly looking bunch for their ‘first contact’ force 🙂

A really interesting and gripping battle report. Well, Killian as usual, had bad luck with the dice.
Shotgun has an impact template! Killian could have wasted both of the tohaa behind the Ectros. It was a tough and long game though, so mistakes like that can happen.
In any case, that was a great battle report 🙂

We used to have a Warmachine player here who had the most terrible luck with dice, He charged Krueger with the Butcher on the Butcher’s feat turn. Krueger lived, and proceeded to kill the Butcher on my turn,
Nice close game, I appreciate that the game system can leave a player feeling as though they are completely out of the game but still pull a win at the last moment.

I had a blast this past week. I’ve been painting up my PanO for the past three days, completely psyched about this game. What’s even better is that Acontecimento was the sectorial that drew my attention during the bootcamp, and now they’re getting the Tikbalang and apparently a new starter box. 🙂

Killian way to battle. I think if someone went back and did the math you probably lost 70 to 80 percent of the face to face rolls and yet you were so close to winning. Way to go. You will eventually get a game on Carlos. However, one question? Didnt you have a airborne deployment troop in your army?

Loved to watch this game, but it does emphasize what I already thought about Infinity. I love the miniatures, I really like the reactive game system, but it is really dicey at moments.
