Neither faction normally jump out at me, but both have some pretty sweet looking units in this box set. I like both of the expansion sets too.

I was super keen to see the new aleph sculpts while disregarding the Dakini as being boring spindly robots. This preview has completely turned me around and possibly turned me robosexual.
We gather here today to pay our respects and bid a fond farewell to my wallet. Once so full of life and cash, gutted in its prime by a ravenous hobby.

This two-player pack is the excuse I’ve been looking for to get deeper into Aleph. It makes sense to build up my Aleph troops so that my Nomads can square off against their major arch rivals.
The Ratnik is what the Blackjack could have been! That Scout also looks great.

Interesting how we are seeing a lot of these starter box, easy hobby entry point, on the market. Are they all fighting over the same customers? Time will tell.
So hyped.
I have been waiting for an aleph starter force to come out that I would love, and this is definitely it. The current starter set doesn’t quite do it for me, is a great set but I feel shows it’s age a little, and steel phalanx are also awesome models but aesthetically don’t feel AI/cybernetic enough to me.
The new set is pretty much the exact concept I have for my desired aleph.
The Ariadna guys look fab as well. They are the other army which is on my list of starter packs to get. Love the Battlesuits, I am tempted to get the current blackjacks and that just to paint. Favourite models for, that side of the box are the two line troopers with beanies.
Ratnik is very ugly. He looks like 40k: The pose of the ratnik is too static and his hammer is too big.
But Aleph and the rest of Ariadna looks awesome.
They are both grabbing my attention but I always had a sweet spot for the Russians so I would go with the new Kazak sectorial.
Can’t wait. So excited. Go Operations.

Looks like a good way to start Infinity, really like the cyberpunk Aleph.
My son and I started playing Infinity just last month and we love the game. Can’t wait to see the new stuff.

The veteran kazak and the ratnik both looks awesome! Can’t wait to get them on the painting table.
Two extremes: the most lowtech faction versus one of the most hightech faction.
Oh, new Daikini. Excellent sculpt. never liked the old ones, which is why I haven’t even assembled them yet. But I might get some of these. My aleph needs all the orders it can get
Wow. I figured we’d get a couple nice sculpts out of this set, but this is 100% on point!
Some models are very nice (like the new Yadu), but overall they seem a little bit “boring”… just compare the old Naga with the new one.
Aleph looks great. Might be time to drink the Kool-Aid.

Finally the Vedic seems to be getting some love.
I bought my first Infinity models, when the Aleph where first introduced.
And it feels like they have been forgotten since then, in favour of the greeks.

Sometimes I wish CB’s sculpts were a little worse. Then maybe I wouldn’t be playing every single army available! I take that back. Keep up the good work CB. It’s one of the main reason I love this game 🙂

Of course the Wardriver that had a dossier floating around for a year (like the Vet Kazak) is for this box as an exclusive pre-order bonus. On the one hand I’m ok with it as it’s not a profile that I think is particularly good, but on the other hand I was hoping it would be generally released so I could have more conversion fodder for a brawler.
Looks like a good box though, very tempting to make me start two new faction. I even have a toe in the door with some ALEPH units I bought for my imperial service, I’m trying to keep my factions down to three.
I’ve been waiting for Aleph Operations for ages, so that’s a given. Not so interested in breaking into the Russians though (already focused on USAri), so may have to try and find someone who is.
I’m guessing Tartary Ariadna is a new sectoral army, if so which book are they in? Are we expecting a new book?
I’m siding with Aleph. But man oh man are those beautiful sculpts on both sides.

Cool looking models. Going by some of the Aleph models, the Wardriver and the Brawler in the last big box it does look like CB is favoring featureless helmets lately.

The models look great as per usual, but the name is odd. Surely a cold front is a step down from an Icestorm? Whats next? Operation: A bit chilly?
Operation: A slight cold? Operation: Freeze Frame? Or to go in the opposite direction Operation: Summer Time (you know fighting for a great spot on the beach)
@iceeagle85 why not? BoW seem to have had queuing for tickets added to Wolsung, so why not add getting your towels down to the good spots on the beach first to Infinity?

The armies look great, and 2 new much needed sectorials. Vanilla aleph has been out in the cold for a long time, and Kazaks are great but needed a fire team to be competitive. Can’t wait to see the rules they launch with.

Arrgghh! There goes my “No more figure purchases for the next few months, darling” promise! I have Yu Jing and Haqqislam forces but decided a few months back that I needed some Ariadna Russians- just as a spare force, you understand. So, I used up some reasonable-looking substitute non-official figures (forgive me, I’ve never committed heresy before) as a make-do until the real thing arrived. Then, just about a week ago, I said to a member of our gamers’ group that the Aleph were beginning to sing me their Sirens’ song. And now this??? Oh dear, this may well end my quiet home life…

Looks great, I think @ajhawes would love any faction that has some werewolves in, and I do love the future sci-fi look of the Aleph. I’ve been umming and ahhing about getting some infinity stuff after playing through one of the other operation boxes with a friend. The mini’s look great, and the game is fun, but the full rules show a hell of a steep learning curve.
