“Cover is your friend.” Think that would make a good gaming t shirt. Also really thinking that 15mm is worth a try.
absolutelly agree
Its great when fellow gamers are friendly and help you understand the rules. It makes the game so much more fun. It helps new gamers come back and want to stick around our hobby which benefits all of us. Bravo to a great weekend guys
Any chance of Hitler riding a T Rex to go with the saucers lol.
Bare-chested Hitler a la Putin? 🙂
Maybe even Russian bear cavalry?
More i watch the bootcamp the more i am tempted to buy the box, but the dilemma is what if i won one with a comment…sure just a bigger game to play..wheres my wallet..love can i have my wallet please..please…?
It’s just money. You can always earn more!
someone going through the rules with you is a big step towards getting into a game
I wonder if Warren will apply the psychological warfare the other way around by bringing real world armour into pulp-based games? The fun is the main thing, and if you learn a bit of history along the way, so much the better. Fantastic table!
I’ve nevr been a fan of rules that don’t fit their fluff. I’m happy to hear that these rules match up so well
Warren stop getting in to ppls minds, normal ppl cant take it, thy start getting hallucinations of flying saucers in WWII…
All the best games are the ones where you stop “playing the rules” and play the game. When you play the game in terms of characters and strategy that matches the characters/vehicles in play, rather than trying to capitalise on the best dice percentage outcomes, tabletop games really come to life. Really insightful few days worth of videos, you guys, great work!
Go on. More detailed views on the gaming.
Really enjoying the break downs. Keep it up.
Is there a 15mm scifi or Weird War 2 game out there?
I know there are 10mm and epic.
Got to love those UFOs
Sounds like a good sensible ruleset.
And explaining the reason why the rules exist makes them so much easier to remember.
Has anyone done a video series explaining the real world reasons behind the rules?
That sounds REALLY interesting.
There was a really cool 4 part book series I read ages ago where aliens invaded the world during WW2 and the different factions and political characters had to join forces to save the planet. Fun piece of alternative fiction
A rule set with actual reason behind it. that’s unique.
15mm is a great scale for massed tanks and vehicles
Great advice from John.
Crash the flying saucers!
An educational ruleset? Awesome!
Im glad it went so well considering the effort you put in on the tables. good job guys.
I’m still learning the rules also. I’ve picked up some thing watching the videos this weekend. thanks
duck an cover.
Good that the game rules are there because of how real life actually is, not just because.
Having the GMs seems like it really helped. Background, rules support, etc. Great stuff.
