Wow! What a game.

I like the idea of a lot of commanders getting to run troops. It adds to the element of, here’s what we want to do, but then someone on your team doesn’t exactly follow through with the plan and how that changes things.

Very cool setup for a club to run for the whole group!

The figures look really well painted as well. Gunnar (sp?) should be rightly proud of his efforts.

now that is what I’d call a wargame … 😀
The scale of the actual battle is unbelievable.
And when you consider the communications (or rather lack thereof) it is kind of surprising that these guys managed to find each other.

I wonder what happens to this giant board after the convention. Does is go to a wargaming museum or to a place where regular participation games take place?

I said it before,& I’ll say it again.
That’s a great looking table.

It must be really immersive to play the whole battle, rather than just a part of it…. That’s probably why were seeing so many historical games using smaller scale figures just so you can fit the troops on a table.
