Everyone says I need to get an airbrush , would it really be worth it?
I think so, if you have a lot of painting projects it sure helps. I use it for base coating and texturing. I pre-shade with it also. Someday I would like to try Angel techniques.
I have a Badger Patriot and I love it! It makes painting aircraft and tank camo a breeze!
I would like to thank you very much for having this segment and I sincerely hope you consider a future longer segment on airbrushing with the guys from Badger. I have seen some of their YouTube videos and they do a great job of breaking it down and throw away a lot of the myths of airbrushing — for example — there is no beginner airbrush and the only trick is practice. I have heard them use the tip about picking up some cheap dime store coloring books and painting color between the lines with your airbrush and for me… Read more »
I have one wish for Badger — get a better website.
Been looking at getting into doing some airbrushing and this was really helpful in finding out what is needed.
Harder & Steinbeck, Badger, Iwata, or Sparmax. Which is your choice?
Currently I use Iwata because it was what was available at my FLGS. I have used Badger before and liked it. Hopefully in the near future we will do some work with Ken and we can do a beginner series.
Air brushing might be my next step in painting
Wish I had talked to him before I bought all of my airbrush gear.
I love my Patriot airbrush.
i am in between badger and harder and stennbeck, one hard to get spares in uk, 2nd is expensive but any broken parts exchange free.
it’s so good to hear someone talking sense with regards to airbrushing, really insightful.
I have a sotar 2020 but use iwata now as my LGS supports it.
would be great to see Badger doing some work with BOW
I’d love to see BoW cover more instructional stuff on airbrush usage. I was hoping when Justin was getting in to it we would see more content from him. Videos of him learning, and making mistakes, and ideally taking lessons we could follow along with.
I like the patriot but I like the Iwata eclipse more.
I really wish I had the money to drop on airbrushing equipment.
Nice brushes .
I wish I had the skill these guys do with their air brush. Alas i just use mine for priming and base coating.
That was a very good interview. I look forward to seeing some more video’s on this subject in the future. I don’t know if I need an airbrush but it really would be useful for priming and base coats.
I want an airbrush so I can prime and clear coat during the winter, it gets cold in my neck of the woods. Also, so I can stop breathing in rattle can fumes.
Airbrushing indoors the highest form of painting.
Thank you for the great info
I’m enjoying my badgers so far.
This looks awesome!
It was fun!
