Watch Out For More DUST 1947 This Weekend

If you're a fan of the Weird World War side of things then you'll want to check out what the folks behind DUST 1947 are showing off this weekend.

As well as plenty of the current range they might be showing off a few of the new models coming your way too.

Dust is an awesome game, and a cool setting. Glad it didn’t die after the various difficulties with distributors.

Was hoping to see more teasers for the Cthulhu stuff…

This is probably as close as I would come to playing a historical game, interesting idea.

Please forgive this shameless post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve played.

Played a great demo game at their stand on Friday afternoon. Never played it before but seriously thinking about picking it up now. Models are lovely, rules mechanics seem both interesting and thematic so overall a nicely put together little game. The dice gods played their usual tricks during the demo and from 2 rolls of 19 dice I failed to get a single hit. Conjured a mental image of Pulp Fiction with Sam Jackson and John Travolta looking around and behind them in wonder at all the bullets missing.

I like that the units are getting more wild as time goes on. The tech seems to be increasing, the units have character progression, and I like it.

I have played a few games of this recently. It seems to be picking up followers in my area and is a pretty fun game. I like the different ways that you can buy the miniatures to.

I was expecting the usual acrimonious comments for a Dust post but we seem pretty positive. Was the kickstarter dispute settled?

It seems that DUST is slowly gaining some ground back after the disastrous Kickstarter. I really like the concept and style of the game and I am certainly looking forward to see how this game develops. I hope it makes it and all the new items indicates that there is at least some growth. I still think the tactics ruleset needs some fine tuning and some stats on some of the units seem a bit off, but overall still a great game and easy to get playing quickly.
