Wargames Atlantic will soon be taking pre-orders for a new set of 28mm scale miniatures to match their World War II Partisans/French Resistance fighters. The women of France are on the warpath and ready to kick some Nazi butt!

This new set of French Resistance Women was revealed in their painted form over on social media recently. It shows off a frankly brilliant set of miniatures which are absolutely packed with character. You could see all of them doing the nononsense business of battling for their homeland and ousting the invaders.
The set will allow you to build thirty of these Resistance Fighters with five unique poses and a mixture of weapons that include rifles, submachine guns, pistols, revolvers and a knife or two. There are even options for some of your ladies to be smoking away. How very French.
The set will also be joined by another piece of beautiful artwork by Peter Dennis.

Stick these ladies in your games to battle against Nazis or take out opponents from the next county over in your Very British Civil War games. Whilst these are great for mixing and matching with the existing French Resistance, there is no reason why they can't find themselves in other theatres, countries and genres.

Stomping Nazi necks is good calisthenics
These look like they would work well with the BA plastics . I found the male partisan set to be slight in the body , they look weird with BA figures . Hopefully WA next Partisan set will be for the Eastern Front.
