Warlord Games is bolstering the forces for the Italians in your World War II wargame, Bolt Action, with the addition of a new Armies of Italy supplement and a range of new releases in both plastic and Warlord Resin.

Armies of Italy with Special Miniature // Bolt Action

We start with Armies of Italy, which includes loads of additional detail on the infantry, artillery, vehicles and more that the Italians used during their battles in World War II. This means that you can run the Italians as part of the Axis forces or post-armistice. You have three different army lists for you to choose from and different national special rules for each.

This also comes alongside the historical background for the Italians during World War II, alongside plenty of illustrations and miniature photography. This book also comes with the miniature "Desert Lightning" that represents a paratrooper fighting in the Western Desert. He comes with two optional sets of arms featuring improvised anti-tank weapons.

Plastic Paracadutisti Platoon!

To accompany the new Armies of Italy book, you can get yourself a plastic kit for the Paracadutisti, who were the airborne forces of the Regio Esercito.

Italian Paracadutisti Platoon // Bolt Action

This set allows you to make thirty infantrymen in M41 paratrooper uniforms. The sprues feature the likes of the Carcano rifle alongside the Beretta Model .38 submachine gun and the Lanciafiamme 41 d’assalto compact flamethrower. You will also find loads of additional equipment like improvised anti-tank grenades, wedding, vests and other accessories.

The set also comes with an extra set of heads with berets, so you can craft the X Arditi special forces. As with all of the plastic sets from Warlord for Bolt Action, the options included can make a variety of different units beyond your standard infantry.

The Italian Paracadutisti HQ set comes with four miniatures for leading the way on the battlefield. This set comes with an Officer, Medic, NCO and Radio Operator. The core of what you'll need for guiding the flow of battle.

This set gives you a set of Officers for leading your various platoons on the battlefield. Use them to provide yourself with a unique leader for a Rifle Platoon, Recce Platoons, Heavy Weapons Teams and Artillery Platoons. I can hear exactly what they're saying from some of these poses.

Last but not least, we have the Italian Paracadutisti Heavy Weapons Platoon.

You will need some heavy weapons to lay down covering fire on the battlefield. This set comes with two Medium Machine Gun Teams and a Medium Mortar. You also get an Officer to lead the way, giving you a ready-made Platoon for use in Bolt Action.
