Mohawk & Eagle Warriors Join Warlord Games’ Mythic Americas
March 4, 2021 by brennon
Warlord Games has added two new separate sets to their Mythic Americas collection for those wanting to expand on their Tribal Nations or Aztec armies. Snag your Mohawk Warriors and Eagle Warriors and stick some 28mm metal miniatures into your next raiding force.
Mohawk Warriors With Clubs // Mythic Americas
The first set is for the Mohawk Warriors who are armed with their simple but deadly clubs. These are a core melee unit for use in a Tribal Nations warband and come with the Woodsmen ability which allows them to navigate rough terrain and surprise their enemies. They lack strong armour so you'll want to make sure that the enemy doesn't get a chance to counterattack!
Proud Eagle Warriors
Heading further South, we also have the mighty Eagle Warriors for those playing as the Aztecs.
Eagle Warriors With Slings // Mythic Americas
These Eagle Warriors are an elite ranged unit for those playing as the Aztecs and ususally get to choose between using bows and slings. Their fast rule allows them to move quickly around the field and act like proper skirmishers, harassing the opponent when needed.
You can choose slings as an upgrade to the Eagle Warriors allowing them the chance to do a double ranged attack when given a Fire order. This can be done as an action or reaction making them a seriously painful foe to face.
I really like the look of the Mohawk Warriors and I think if I was going to be diving into this game I'd play as the Tribal Nations for sure. That's not to say that the Eagle Warriors aren't also very cool, especially considered how wild you can go with their paint scheme!
Are you tempted by these new warriors for Mythic Americas?

You know what grinds my gears? Posing boxes of minis with multiples of the same mini in a way that makes you believe you get more different sculpts than you actually get. I know why they do it and that almost every company does it but it still sucks and feels wrong. But maybe I’m just in a grumpy mood today.
Those look really nice.
Nice figures for gamers
Very nice indeed ?
