New 28mm Scale Cultists Plastic Set Coming To Frostgrave
August 18, 2025 by brennon
North Star Military Figures previewed the new 28mm scale plastic set coming to their Frostgrave collection for use in the Osprey Games Fantasy skirmish game. Cultists are abroad, sneaking through the ruins of Felstad, seeking to unleash terrible powers in the name of their masters.
Cultists III // Frostgrave
The set will fit the style of other plastic kits from North Star Military Figures in that it features twenty multi-part, hard plastic miniatures for you to use as both the characters in your Frostgrave warbands but also the villains that you might meet when wandering through the Frozen City.

The set will feature a mixture of different components for you to choose from when building your new Cultists. You get a set of bodies and legs that can be combined with various arms to give you some dynamic figures for use in your warbands. These Cultists can then be armed with a mixture of weapons from simple tools through to scavenged swords and some cruel-looking ranged weapons like crossbows.
One of the nicest elements of the kit is that they have provided a mixture of different heads. You have some that match up to the older Cultists sets (both the male and female versions), plus more that look distinctly different, especially when it comes to these hoods below.

I loved these crooked hoods with the tips slightly leaning over. It looks very natural and should be great when used with a mixture of different plastic kits for Frostgrave, not just the ones for the Cultists.
With that being said, this Cultists set doesn't have to be reserved for use alongside the Frostgrave range by North Star. You can easily use this plastic set alongside the plastic sets for Stargrave to give your Sci-Fi soldiers a creepy, cultist vibe. I could imagine them worshipping some alien creature deep within the bowels of an abandoned space station.
Will you be adding this box to your pile of potential for kitbashing purposes?

I just bought 3 boxes!11!!
Hell they are a joy to assemble.
I have liked every boxset of the frostgrave minis I have bought from north star. They have so much variety and versatility, good stuff.
I’ll definitely be purchasing a few boxes of these. I see a lot of ‘kitbashing’ with this great set.
Damn the kitbashing goodness. I will need to curb my enthusiasm to just do random crap instead of completing my projects.
They are nice
It’s like Heilung but more stabby
