New Criminal Gangs Hit The Streets Of Knight Model’s Gotham

Knight Models has released a new range of different criminal gangs for you to use in the Batman Miniatures Game as well as the DC Universe Game.
Kicking things off we have this very funny looking The Penguin: Crimelord set. It comes with a bunch of the Penguin Goons as well as some armoured penguins AND a Penguin which looks a LOT like Danny Devito...infact, it probably is Devito!
Next up we are watching the shadowy factions that dwell in the background for The Court Of Owls.
These are some of the deadliest enemies that Batman has ever faced and they bring a range different fighting styles to the tabletop, some with agility and dexterity whilst others just want to smash face!
Next up we have some of the craziest enemies that Batman has ever come up against. Here we have Man-Bat, Scarecrow and Solomon Grundy as the Terror In Gotham.
As well as all of these villains we also did get a release of some cool heroes to fight this wave of criminal activity.
Robin & Goliath
I must admit that when I saw these particular characters I didn't have too much of a clue who Goliath was, but the set looked very cool.
This version of Robin is Damian Wayne and Goliath is his loyal companion who was taken by him from the League Of Assassins.
It helps to be a hero who has a massive Dragon-Bat at your command.

Are they in the comic’s the penguin is the only one I know anything about.
Yep.
Court of Owls first appeared in the New52 reboot where it was revealed they were a secret organisation that ruled Gotham from the shadows.
Man-bat is a scientist that experimented on himself and turned himself into a man-bat hybrid. Iirc he started as a villain but since has had a heel-face turn and is an I assign all ally of Batman.
Scarecrow is one of Batman’s big enemies and was even in every one of the Nolan Batman films. He deals in fear toxin/gas and at one point was even deputised by the Sinestro Corps.
Grundy was a monster named Cyrus Gold whose body was dumped in a swamp and he got resurrected. His theme is tied into the old nursey rhyme, hence why he became known as Grundy, but don’t recall the specifics.
Damian Wayne is the 5th Robin and is the son of Batman and Talia ah-Ghul (depending on which reboot you’re reading it was either consensual sex or Batman was raped). The League of Assassins trained him from birth to be a top assassin but he defected and became Robin under Dick Greyson while he filled in as Batman when Bruce was thought dead but was actually displaced and moving through time when he got hit by Darkseid’s Omega beams after having fatally shot Darkseid.
No idea about Goliath, but I haven’t been keeping up with the comics so he might be from the Rebirth reboot.
They are all great but I really like the penguin gang the most.
Finally Penguin has Penguins. And The Duck!
The court of owls set is I think 3 resculpts, the Gotham Butcher recast in resin (and moves up a base size) and at last Lincoln March arrives to tasks command. Both pretty great ways to start the crews.
Damien has an alternative Owl Mask head option and can be used in hero, Court or League of Assassins crews, so I think he will see a lot of play.
